What the gurus are saying

One guru found the formula delivers a visible glow while still feeling like genuine skincare, praising the niacinamide concentration and finish. However, another expert saw it as a repackaged bronzing serum in gold, questioning the distinction and suggesting it relies more on novelty than new benefit. The formula may appeal to those after a luminous, warm-toned highlight, though people with specific skin concerns may want to weigh whether the niacinamide alone justifies the product for their routine.

"These are the new Drunk Elephant B-Goldie Bright Drops. This has five percent niacinamide in it. It's like a golden serum. You can see on my hands the level of sheen it gives, so it's definitely going to give you a glow, but it feels like skincare because it kind of is skincare, which I really love. I'm so excited I'm literally going to keep these upstairs in my skincare drawer."

"The B Goldie bright drops which is essentially again the same thing as the de bronzi serum except it's gold so you mix it in and it makes you look gold instead of bronze. I don't know who wants to look gold but they're kind of relying on their fans and setting out products for review."
