What the gurus are saying

Gurus consistently praise this cleanser for being unexpectedly gentle despite its gel format, with no foaming or tightening. It emulsifies into a soft texture and effectively preps skin without harshness. The standout feature is the refill pouch system, which gurus highlight as affordable, practical, and genuinely eco-conscious. The consensus is that it's a reliable workhorse rather than a hero product, but that's exactly what makes it worth repurchasing.

"This is called the Flawless Cleanser. Now it's a gel, which if you know me isn't my favorite consistency. Like generally I associate gels with foaming and tightness and that sort of overcleansed feeling. So, I did go into this a bit skeptical, but I have made a serious exception for this product. Now, it doesn't foam, which is good. And despite it being a gel, it is very gentle and it is very soothing on the skin. I do emulsify it and it turns into this sort of a jelly, sort of a soft cream. There's no squeaky finish. There's no tightness. It does exactly what I want a second cleanse to do in the evening. It removes any residue left from the balm and leaves my skin feeling calm and balanced. It is a really lovely formula, especially if you're dealing with dry and dehydrated skin. And from my understanding, this is also great for sensitive skin, too."

"I've always been a fan of this, the Dr Sam Flawless Cleanser. The cap on this is so good that you can just dispense a small amount out. It allows you to disperse the right amount. And they now do a refill pouch, 400 ml, which is so much cheaper than buying the equivalent four of these."

ULTIMATE SKINCARE FAVOURITES - Skincare I Have Bought The Most
"The Dr Sam Flawless cleanser is just a great cleanser. It doesn't promise anything magical and it doesn't have any hidden secret ingredients in it, it's just an effective cleanser. It gets everything off the skin, gets it prepped for the rest of your skincare routine, and works. The reason I love this is they do refills and they do refills right. You get a ton of product, it's a lot cheaper, and there's a lot less packaging in this than the original. You could just buy the refill, but what I do is I constantly refill this from the bag and it works out a lot cheaper and it's much more environmentally friendly. This is refills done right."
