What the gurus are saying

This pen earns consistent praise for durability and real results on fine lines, wrinkles, pore size, and discoloration when used every four to six weeks, with gurus noting visible improvements within seven to ten days. The adjustable depth dial and high speed setting let people customize treatments for different body areas, though the sensation is described as a mild burn that subsides quickly. At under $300, it's positioned as a decade-long investment, though gurus caution to buy only from the official source to avoid counterfeits circulating on other retailers.

"Apparently uses the same cartridges. And so, some of the cartridges with the Terminator are a little bit more expensive. I think they're made a little differently. The technology it seems like is better. Um, so I just went and bought this. [...] This end up being about 70 or 80 bucks I or so. Uh, so it's worth it cuz some of these cartridges I already own like a hundred or more. And uh, to me it seems like for like superficial treatments, I'll probably still use my doctor pen."

"This is the Dr. Pen M8S, my favorite microneedling tool. There's nothing fancy about it, but it will last you a decade, my old one lasted over a decade and I still haven't thrown it out. It's under $300 and comes with sterile cartridges."

Microneedling Q&A Seriously, ask me anything
"Hands down. It's not even close. Radio frequency, microcurrent, it's not even close. If you can do this consistently at home and save yourself thousands of dollars and you are consistent about it, you will reverse age your skin. [...] When the skin grows back, when that collagen comes in, it grows back firmer, less fine lines and wrinkles, more even skin tone, less acne, less scarring. [...] You're creating those micro traumas."

"This is the Dr. Pen M8. This is the best device on the market today. This pen right here, it's $2.99. You will have this pen like a decade. I just now, this is my old pen. I've had this pen for a decade. I'm not kidding. This is the M8. It just got to where I couldn't see where to dial it. So I switched to this, which has very, um, the indicator of where what length the needles are is so much better."

"I like this M8s so much better than the Dr. Pen. [...] I've been microneedling consistently for many, many years. I like the M8s because [...] if you're at a 0.50 and you keep everything at a speed of one, there's no sense when you have needles going through your face unless you've got a large area like when I do my abdomen or my thighs where you're doing a straight surface."
While we often obsess over facial skincare, our HANDS are usually the first place to betray our age
"This is the Dr. Pen M8s. This is the one that's on sale. It's normally $2.99. This is on sale for $1.99 with code live young. [...] Here is a Dr. Pen M8s sterile tip. This is an 18 pen cartridge there. That means there's 18 needles in this. You always, always, always start with a fresh cartridge. Throw that away. To get this in the device, you simply press it down. It locks into place. You turn it clockwise. Throw the tip away. Okay, now you have a fresh cartridge of needles."
MICRONEEDLING DEMO! 🎙️That’s right, I do a FULL face Microneedling demo in today’s Instagram
"I had my first Dr. Pen M8. This is the M8S because the dial is a little easier to read. My M8 hadn't broken yet and I had it for 15 years. I started micro needling in 2016. [...] That device lasted 10 years. I recently upgraded to the M8s just because I can see the dial. I can see the number on the dial a little bit better. But I want to be able to dial this by a 0.1 mm, not like I'm stuck having to do a 0.2 millimeters."

"I changed from the M8. I had the M8 for a decade, I think. But I couldn't read the dial so clearly and this dial is a little bit better. And I also like that each cartridge has a waffle effect so that when you glide it with your on your skin, whatever serum you're using doesn't get pushed around. It actually glides into the device because of that waffle effect. If that makes sense. As opposed to being a straight edge. Here you can see the device, the cartridge itself is a little bit of a waffle."

"So, I switched to the M8s and I love it because it has a cartridge that has these little grooves in it. [...] That helps when you are using a glide. [...] When you use a glide and you're gliding the device over your skin, you want that slip [...] to be able to pass evenly through that needle cartridge without it piling up. They changed the cartridge for the M8s and I like it much much better because when you're using a glide, the company literally says you can do that."

Microneedling Crepey Tummy Skin! If you’re a midlife woman, or you’ve lost a bunch of weight
"This is the micro needling tool that I love, the Dr. Pen M8s. It's an at-home device with sterile needle cartridges. [...] The depth goes from about 0.25 up to a 2.5, which is the highest it will go. [...] On my abdomen I usually start at a 1.0 and go up to a 1.5, sometimes a 2.0 depending on the anatomy, [...] going deeper where there's more cushion of fat and shallower over bone."
Microneedling Full Face Demonstration! 🪡Microneedling consistently at home is my number one way
"Microneedling helps with fine lines and wrinkles, pore size, hyperpigmentation, and discoloration by calling on my body to produce collagen and elastin. I don't numb my face first and it really doesn't hurt as much as you'd think. I notice results seven to ten days after a session, and doing it consistently every four to six weeks is what creates real, dramatic changes over time. The pen is less than $300 plus free shipping, and it's one of the easiest ways to reverse age your skin at home."

"I'm using a Dr. Pen M8s today. I like this pen more than any other pen on the market. They came out with a new one that's digital and I don't like the digital one, I like to be able to control exactly how deep I go. The last one I had, the Dr. Pen M8, I had for over a decade and it never broke, they're really, really good devices, and the pen is under $300. Just don't buy them on Amazon, that device has been counterfeited so many times, so only buy from the authentic linked source."
