"From a collagen induction point of view, this is exactly what you want. And from a hygiene perspective, it's unbeatable. These cartridges are single use, and they're disposable. So there's no ambiguity about cleaning or crosscontamination. And you also get a very high level of control. You have depth settings, speed settings, consistent needle action. This is a serious piece of kit, and the results are excellent when it's used properly and consistently. But the needle heads are really small, which means treatments take a really long time. And it's also quite painful. I'm not going to lie. Now, yes, I could use a numbing cream, but that adds even more time to the process. And over time, I realize that when something takes too long or it feels too uncomfortable, my consistency drops."

"The Dr. Pen is my favorite, this is the M8. But it doesn't matter if it's the newer models, sometimes the digital display changes on the newer models, it's fine. But you want to get a cartridge that's close to 16 pins. So if you use a 36 or a 24, it's just literally bouncing off of your skin. I kind of equate this with like a man laying on a bed of nails. If the nails are very closely packed, he can just lay there and it's just going to leave little dents, not bounce off. But if those nails are spread apart, then the skin is able to perforate and get through, and that's what we want. We want to create those microtraumas. So you want a cartridge that is close to 16. Now depending on which model you have it could be 12, it could be 20, but you want to aim in there. A 12-pin cartridge is probably going to give you a little bit more. 12 and 20, it's going to be comparable. 12 to 16 to 20, that's not a big difference, nothing to be comparable. When you get up towards the 24 and 36 and the Nano, those are just bouncing off of your skin."
