"This product is perfectly fine as an exfoliant. It has mild chemical exfoliants in it like PHA and BHA. And those little balls act as a gentle physical exfoliant, but it cannot draw anything out of your pores. No topical product can. I originally wanted to give Dr. Melaxin the benefit of the doubt here. But given the fact that so many of these videos say pretty much the exact same thing about this product, making the exact same claims, it seems likely that it's all part of the script given to creators by the brand. The brand's own promotional material shows one of those cellulose balls and says real skin or something like that when it's not. And this is all over Amazon, all over TikTok shop and what I presume is their official website."
