What the gurus are saying

One expert found the grinding dispenser a genuine convenience for facial massage and praised how easily it lets people avoid dipping fingers into a jar. However, another reviewer appreciated the novel mechanism but felt the product itself didn't stand out as a favorite, suggesting the grinding feature may be more memorable than the cleanse it delivers. Those drawn to cleansing balms primarily for massage work may find it worth trying; those seeking a standout formula might want to test it first.

"I actually am not a big fan of this. It's not a trash product by any means, but it's not my all-time favorite. I did include this in one of my viral K beauty products I don't recommend video back in the summer. The grinding mechanism is what made it originally very viral because instead of a jar like packaging where you would open it up and scoop out the balm with a spatula, this one twists and shaves the cleansing balm off. I do kind of like that aspect of not needing a spatula, but the grinding mechanism itself..."

"I've always loved cleansing balms because they're luxurious, they're mess-free, and easy to use to just remove everything on your face while making your skin ultra soft. [...] This is the very first year I've started using grinding cleansing balms, and oh my gosh, I don't know if I'm ever going to go back. [...] The cleansing balm is in a solidified state, but through the packaging and twisting the cap, it grinds a small amount off the top, ensuring that you have a mess-free cleansing experience, and the formula is exposed to as little air and light as possible to help preserve it. [...] This has an ever so slight granular feel to the consistency that's amazing for really clearing through any excess sebum, dirt, or oil that is built up on your skin throughout the day. [...] This is the perfect cleansing balm for anyone who has oily skin with those concerns because this cleansing balm can bulldoze through it without being overly gritty or exfoliating."

"You sort of twist this and the product comes through like that, it's sort of almost like dispenses an amount that it shaves off the top. As cleansing balms go, this one I really really enjoy, particularly for doing a facial massage, which is a great way to start an anti-aging skincare routine. It's great for people that don't like sticking their fingers in the cleansing balms. This is a nice easy to dispense way of doing it and it does a great facial massage. For facial massage, I found this was easy, convenient, and definitely did the job."
