What the gurus are saying

Gurus consistently praise the serum's watery texture, rapid absorption, and non-greasy finish, making it especially suitable for warm weather and layering. It delivers on its promise to calm redness and soothe the skin barrier. The main concern is price relative to product volume and performance; it may not provide enough hydration for very dry climates without additional moisturizer underneath.

"Use morning and evening, one full dropper is enough to cover most of the face. It has a really light watery texture that absorbs really quickly. You can apply it after cleansing and toning, and if you use an essence, use it after that. It's super light. I really liked it in El Salvador because it was really hot and humid there and this watery texture soaked in nicely and set to a natural slightly matte finish. It just left my skin feeling hydrated but not greasy, and I could use a sunscreen and moisturizer over it without it being too much. I've continued using it since and really am enjoying it. It's a very light product. For the summer and spring it will be a nice product. If you have super dry skin or live in a very dry climate it may not be enough, but if you use it under a good moisturizer it seems to do a good job. Once it soaks in it sets to a natural slightly matte finish that is slightly tacky but really non-greasy. Love it, wonderful, very easy to use."

Dr. Jart+ New! 🆕🌿 Cicapair Sensitive Skin Serum for Redness and Barrier Repair Review & Dupes
"What this product promises is to quickly soothe the skin barrier and reduce redness for healthier looking skin, and I would say it delivers on both of those promises. I really enjoy the light texture of it, it's really nice for summer and humidity. For very irritating dry skin, I think you might need something with a little bit more oomph. It sets to a natural finish and feels really nice on skin. For skin types, this one's going to be a nice product for most skin types including dry, oily, sensitive, and even acne prone skin. Pretty nice, does what it promises overall. The main downside is the price: 30 milliliters for $54, so it's expensive for what it is."
