What the gurus are saying

Gurus consistently praise this cream for calming irritation, windburn, and rosacea-prone skin, with particular enthusiasm for its green-tinted formula that neutralizes redness. The recurring gripe is the high price point relative to results. Some users note it feels rich and non-greasy, though one reviewer wouldn't repurchase despite liking it. Community consensus leans positive for reactive skin, though the investment gives some pause.

"If you made the mistake of your life and you got burnt then I really do love this. I've used it on my kids especially with windburn sunburns. It's great to help to reduce any sort of inflammation and calm your skin. It is arnica based."

"I've actually been using this product for quite a while, a whole year now, and I am really really impressed with this mask. It uses 15% glycolic acid as well as 3% lactic acid, and they've also combined it with tranexamic acid, which is a great brightening active ingredient. I've been incorporating this pretty much every single week into my masking routine to give my skin that perk-up, that brightness, and I've made some really good headway with my hyperpigmentation this year. This was really a crucial puzzle piece for me personally with my active routine this year. I do have sensitive skin and I've struggled with glycolic acid in the past, but I just put this on in a very thin layer, leave it on for just 10 minutes once a week, wash it off, and my skin is so good."

"It feels nice and non-greasy. It's got a peptide in there and I'll take more peptides any chance I get."

"The Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Cream, this one I'm just working on finishing on my neck. I liked it, I wouldn't repurchase it, but it's nice. This product's really expensive."

"For those with rosacea or just struggle with kind of baseline rosiness of the cheeks and looking for something that is soothing, calming but also offers some protective properties but also most importantly mask that redness, I really recommend the Cicapair line from Dr. Jart+. It contains mineral-based sunscreen so zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, SPF 35, and contains centella. What I really like about this is the green tint that often can help to mask or at least reduce the redness. The trick to using this is you don't want to use it alone as your sunscreen because it's just too rich. So what you would do is you would apply your sunscreen first and then kind of just drop one to two drops on areas of concern after your sunscreen has been absorbed and then apply on those areas, and once you massage it in the green really helps to offset the redness. Really great for individuals that have more rosacea prone skin."
