"The Dr. Jart+ Advanced LC Ceramidin Barrier Cream is a good moisturizer, it actually has some really meaningful ceramide content along with cholesterol and fatty acid, which is great for barrier strengthening and repair. I have a lot of respect for this cream and I recommend it, it's very good, but the texture is not for me personally. It's not occlusive, it's more lotiony and sinks into the skin nicely, but I need occlusivity to fight my dehydration, otherwise my skin feels tight and dry, and if it goes on too long my skin gets irritated. It just doesn't have that, it's not made for my particular skin condition, so unfortunately it's not for me, though I still use it on my neck, chest, and hands."

I also really appreciate the larger size of this because I do a couple of layers so I run through products a lot faster, but with this bigger size I don't feel like I'm running through toner every single month. Because I've used this for quite a while, I can tell you that there's some tea in here and I find my skin super responds to tea in skincare. I didn't find the scent to be overwhelming but I really liked the thick texture of it because my skin was super dry. If you're looking for an all-in-one product, this was thick enough to do the trick for a long time. It was good, but it has a lot of fragrance in it so I kind of eventually evolved away from it."

"I tried a little sample of Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Cream. This has a lot of dimethicone and it doesn't sit well with some of the sunscreens that I use. I found that it caused a lot of pilling. So I tried it as a night cream and I just don't like the texture. My skin kind of feels smothered when I use this, so this is going to be a pass for me."

"For my dry areas this would be great, it feels really nice on the skin and my skin feels super moisturized after applying it. People who struggle with eczema and severe dryness rave about this product, and I definitely enjoyed using it in the past as an overnight moisturizer. My biggest issue with this product is the price point, but if I find an absolutely incredible product that blows my mind and it's fifty dollars or under, that's something I can justify. It's way too thick and rich for my oily T-zone though, so I'd only use it on my dry areas."

"Dr. Jart+ has this ceramide cream. This one is infused with ceramides. It's great for super dry skin. It's also great for sensitive skin. It comes in a nice metallized tube and it is a really thick cream. Again, not for somebody with super oily skin; somebody with really dry slash sensitive skin this might just be enough for you. Again, if you're super sensitive though, I would be careful because it's not necessarily the quote unquote purest of products out there as it has other ingredients as well, including a scent. For example, it has citrus in it, so just beware. But it is going to help if you're super dry and you need your barrier repaired."
