What the gurus are saying

The experts who've tried it praise how it cleanses without that tight, stripped feeling, and note it has an unusual texture that sits between a gel and a cream while resisting the heavy foam of typical cleansers. It rinses cleanly and works well for both single and double cleansing routines. The main trade-off is the price point at around $30, which some may find steep for a cleanser.

"Dr Idris Soft Wash is a gentle sensitive skin friendly cleanser. It has a really nice gel texture that doesn't strip your skin. It's not like a milk cleanser or actual straight up oil that you're putting onto your face. It's kind of silky like gel cream kind of texture. It feels like a foaming cleanser but it just doesn't foam up like real harshly on the skin. It is not stripping and feels really nice on the skin. It is a little bit of a pricier investment for a cleanser at about $30."

"This particular cleanser I've been trying recently is the one by Dr. Idris, her new Soft Wash. I can cleanse, do a single cleanse on most of my face, neck, and décolletage, and then I do come in with a second cleanse just around my mascara and my makeup area, and it rinses beautifully."
