"The Dr. Idris Hyper Serum is one that is super hydrating. It also helps work on anti-pigmentation with the digosal galic acid and tranexamic acid. The texture is more of a milky serum than a true moisturizer. Sometimes I layer it up twice."

"This is the one by Dr Idris, the hyper serum. Her whole line is geared toward maintaining pigmentation, which is something that is a huge goal of mine. I love the serum. It just makes your skin glow. It is amazing."
WINTER SKINCARE PLAN: Get the Best Skin of Your Life Over 50
"An alltime fave is the Hyper Serum by Dr Idris. I love the serum, it's always in my routine, it's my travel companion. It hydrates, it has pigment fighters, it also helps calm my redness. It has all the ingredients I need in kind of a one-and-one serum. If I'm just taking one serum with me when I travel, this is the one I take. This will definitely be in my skincare routine this winter because I use it as a maintenance serum for those particular three problems that I always have year round."

"The Dr. Idris Major Fade Hyper Serum sits in this space. Now, this isn't a quick results product. It's part of a very committed pigment experimentation. Pigmentation is sort of a newer target for me, especially heading into summer when my skin can flare. So, I've committed to at least 6 months using this one product. The texture is beautiful. It layers easily. I've opened a new one which is sitting over here and I already reordered the backup. In fact, the replacement just arrived today. So, this isn't necessarily permanent yet, but it's very deliberate."

"My hero pick is the Dr. Idris Major Fade Hyper Serum because it is multitasking. It is a hydrating serum that also brightens. It is a brightening serum that also hydrates. And you can use it on stubborn spots. Plus, I use it as a double up under eye cream. I use it both in the morning and at night. Four clicks to my face every single day. And I have not missed a day since 2021 when I finalized that formula."

40s Skincare Must Haves for YOUTHFUL Aging (Anti-Aging) from a Dermatologist! | Dr. Shereene Idriss
"This is a brightening serum that is hydrating. It has kojic acid, arbutin, licorice fruit, and when you buy it you get a second cartridge as well in order to ensure freshness so that they do not get exposed to light or air. This retails for $68 and it is great for evening out your skin tone and it gives your skin an extra sheen. If you're somebody who needs an additional boost when it comes to hormonal breakouts or discoloration or both, kojic acid is a nice one to add in during this step. I will preface it by saying that it stinks. Kojic acid at 10% over the counter is ideal. Kojic acid is one of those ingredients that I use at night and not necessarily in the morning because it's just not cosmetically elegant. I have yet to find a pure kojic acid that doesn't pill, so you incorporate it at night if you have breakouts or pigmentation issues."

"This guy is a powerhouse serum that retails for $68. It is great for pigmentation and discoloration in terms of brown discoloration. It has a few powerhouse ingredients like kojic acid, arbutin, licorice fruit, as well as an ingredient known as diglucas gallic acid. When you apply this serum it does give an instant glow. I will use it at the end of my makeup like I did today on the top parts of my cheek to add that instant illuminating glow while also making sure my skin is getting extra benefits from the serum. It has no fragrance."
