What the gurus are saying

Gurus praise the two-in-one formula that eliminates a separate vitamin C step and its silky, lightweight texture that works morning and night. The stable vitamin C ester is noted as non-irritating enough to pair with retinol. One reviewer appreciated the formula but delayed purchase due to category overlap with existing products. The consensus leans positive for efficacy and versatility, though the endorsements are primarily from the brand's founder.

"The Dr. Idris Major Fade Active Seal surprised me. I really liked the texture and the efficiency. It's a moisturizer and a vitamin C in one step, and that makes such good sense. It felt elegant and was obviously easy. I will definitely buy this again. I'm just not buying it immediately because I have other moisturizers and I have other vitamin C products open and I don't want to duplicate the categories. This is more of a delayed, not a dismissed."

"In the morning I use the Dr. Idris Major Fade Active Seal which is my vitamin C moisturizer with ceramides. At night, I seal in my retinol and my serum with my active seal. So the Dr. Idris Major Fade Active Seal. If I need more moisture, I will layer underneath the Aino common restore hydrating serum or I will layer on top the Jordan Samuel Skin Thick Moisturizer."

"Dr Idris Major Fade Active Seal is my favorite because it has Tetra hexal desis corate which is not the active form of vitamin C and it comes in a gel moisturizer so you can use this twice a day in the morning and you can use it at night with a retinol and not be afraid of irritating your skin. I get 24 hours of vitamin C on my skin in the morning and at night to help with the look of any sort of brown spots discoloration hyperpigmentation. It is glycerin based and there's no hyaluronic acid in the moisturizer because you don't need it, you're going to get it through other products."

"If you're looking for a moisturizer that has actives that also moisturizes, this is where I like to incorporate vitamin C in it because you get the two in one. It minimizes the step of having to invest in a simple vitamin C serum but you can also use a vitamin C while hydrating your skin in the process. The Dr Idris Major Fade Active Seal has a vitamin C ester in it plus peptides and ceramides to lock in hydration and the weight of this moisturizer is relatively lightweight so that it can fit most skin types but it is extremely silky and smooth on application on the skin."
