What the gurus are saying

Gurus praise this sunscreen for a notably reduced white cast compared to earlier formulations, crediting an improved texture. The finish can read shiny but is easily mattified with a beauty blender or brush. Reviewers note it's an untinted option, with the brand offering a tinted alternative in their Color Science Flex line for those who prefer coverage.

"In the past, this has definitely left a white cast on my skin. This is the first time I've tried this, and I think this is going to be much better. It even has a different texture to it. And I'm not seeing the white cast that I typically do. I bet once this dries down, this is going to be beautiful. Whether it leaves a slightly shiny finish, hard to say, but you can also go through a beauty blender if you have that shiny finish and you don't like it, or even a makeup brush and kind of tamp it down or tap it down to get rid of the shine."

"I also really love the Dr. Dennis Gross Mineral Sunscreen. This one isn't tinted, just so you know, so if you are looking for a tinted option they do have the Color Science Flex line which I am a huge fan of, but if you want something that is untinted then this would be your go-to."
