"Looking at this ingredient list though, there's definitely a lot of citrus extracts which can also be irritating to the skin. Definitely not the best for anyone who has really really sensitive skin. However, I do feel like this formula is far superior to the stronger formula that has more irritating agents in it. In my personal opinion though, there are other peels out there that have superior ingredient lists and for a much lower price point."

"I do like the ultra gentle the most because I can be the most consistent with this. And sometimes I will use this every single day for one week straight just to really give my skin that deep exfoliation where my skin is just super soft and bright. It's just a way where I can rejuvenate my skin in a short amount of time. These are meant to be used daily, but I don't always use them daily because of course I want to use other actives in my skincare routine. So usually I will use this maybe once a week on a Sunday, but then sometimes depending on if I have a lot of discoloration or texture, I might use this every day for one week straight or maybe four days in a row. It just depends. I really love the ultra gentle because these really are super gentle."

"I like to exfoliate and I like to use the Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Ultra Gentle Daily Peels. I have talked about this a handful of times in the past. You guys know that I love this. And I also really enjoy the universal strength as well. But I tend to use the gentle the most because I can be the most consistent with this. So if there's a week where I want to use this maybe three or four times, I can. I do not experience irritation with this one and I love the results that I get from the gentle. Now there is an extra strength and that one is no joke. So depending on skin sensitivity, we have three options. But this one is a great one to start with and then of course if you want to move up to a stronger strength down the road then you can. But I like this a lot because it removes flakiness. It turns a dull complexion into that glowing radiant complexion and you get that after one use. It also does a really good job to fade post acne marks discoloration. It's just so lovely."

"Different from the universal, there's chamomile in here and there's a lot of other calming and soothing ingredients to help accommodate those that have sensitive skin. "I have an empty Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Ultra Gentle Daily Peel Pads and I love these peels. They have three strengths, so this is the gentle one. This one is great for those that are more on the sensitive side, but for me personally I really do like the in-between one, the universal. It's just a little bit stronger but I feel like it does the job a little bit more in terms of exfoliation and giving that brighter complexion. This still did a good job, I just felt like my skin didn't look and feel the same as the universal and the extra strength. But if you want something that is more gentle, something that you can use maybe more often, then I really do recommend it. You get two pads, so this is the neutralizer, the second pad is the neutralizer to bring the pH back to that normal level, and then the first one is to exfoliate. It has those AHAs and there's a lot of other ingredients in it as well. I would use this one again for sure, but I much prefer to use the other two strengths."

"I have used some version of these peel pads for years. They have the gentle sort of the normal and then the extra strength. I wanted to put the ultra gentle ones in this dermstore kit because I feel like that's going to be most accessible for the widest variety of skin types. This has really gentle exfoliating acids and it's a two-step peel process. So you do the acid swipe first to help lift off those dead skin cells, add brightness and glowiness to the skin, and even help with things like discoloration. And then the second step of the peel pad is packed with antioxidants and calming ingredients. So you're doing the exfoliation and then you're calming your skin down to make this so so tolerable. I know these peel pads are marketed for the face, but there's so much juice in the pad that I actually use it on my whole body. So I'll do it on my face after I cleanse in the evening and then I'll bring it down to like my neck, my chest, back of my hands, forearms, booty. Like until that pad is dry, I'm going to get the most out of it. I usually recommend just once a week doing that. And on the night that I exfoliate, that is the only night that I skip my tretinoin."
