    "In the case of this Dove sensitive, this actually works great for both face and body. You could use the original, which is more or less the same thing only with fragrance. I personally prefer the fragrance-free one, but the scent of Dove original is kind of pleasant. This is a modern syndet cleansing bar, not an old-fashioned bar soap, so it doesn't have the alkaline pH that disrupts the skin barrier."

If you've never used a bar soap before, you don't need much lather, and I think that's where some people can run into issues. A bar soap can last a really long time.
