"With the Dove Sensitive, I want to point out: you might think of sensitive, hypoallergenic, that's an automatic fragrance-free. You'd be wrong. This body wash is in fact scented. So if you're allergic to fragrance, you really have to read the ingredients because hypoallergenic is a non-regulated term. Generally, it means the product use that term to convey that they've formulated the product in such a way that they believe it is low risk of being irritating and containing fewer allergens. But sometimes that name will appear on something that contains, yes, maybe fewer ingredients overall, but a common allergen."

"Dove has recently reformulated this sensitive skin body wash, and allegedly it's the only body wash in the world using this nanotechnology that deposits moisturizing ingredients like stearic acid onto the skin, but most body washes do that to a certain extent. I say quote unquote sensitive skin because hypoallergenic is such a marketing lie, you can become allergic to anything. It implies the product is at least free of common allergens, but this one has fragrance, which is the most common allergen in skin care products, so it's a bit misleading. If you truly have sensitive skin, I'm not convinced this sensitive skin body wash is going to be any better than their Deep Moisture body wash."
