What the gurus are saying

This gel cleanser works well for normal to oily skin but can leave dry or sensitive skin feeling tight. The standout feature is the fragrance-free option alongside a scented version, which gurus appreciate as a thoughtful choice for anyone wanting to avoid added fragrance. Those with dry skin may want to patch-test first or consider a creamier cleanser instead.

"You know how I love Do Skincare, but their new cleanser launch Baptism just isn't for me. It strips my dry sensitive skin. If you have normal to oily skin, you're probably going to love this. It's a gel type cleanser, which is perfect for normal to oily skin. There are a few jelly-like cleansers that I can use for my dry skin, but typically a jelly type cleanser doesn't work for me. It just leaves my skin too dry. So this is a personal fail for me, but it's very gentle. It comes in both unscented and scented form, which I was pretty excited about because a lot of times companies won't take the time to do that."

"They just recently came out with a cleanser called Baptism that came in both a fragranced and a fragrance-free form. The fragrance form is actually really quite nice, but I like the fact that there's also an option for people who have sensitive skin and want that fragrance-free option."
