What the gurus are saying

The gurus split sharply on this one. Some found it delivers a subtle, buildable glow that deepens with layers, and appreciate the radiant finish without shimmer. However, the strongest criticism centres on pigmentation that's so faint people hardly see colour on skin, a texture that feels chalky, and a price point of $34 that feels steep for the payoff. Even after reformulation, those concerns persisted. The shade range also drew mention as not the most inclusive.

"It was one of the worst blushes I've ever tried in my life. Pigmentless, terrible texture. And I've also used it after the reformulation of the product, and it still wasn't great. I have to be honest. I do like Dior products. Don't get me wrong. I love their face and body powder and their highlighters, but this blush is or was just shit. And it's $34 for a blush that's pretty small and actually pretty shallow as well at the same time. The color is so fine and lightweight that you hardly see it on the skin. The color shades and the range are definitely not the most inclusive."

"Dior kind of went viral with that chalky blush because everyone was like, oh, it's what Kylie Jenner's makeup artist uses on Kylie Jenner. And it turns out it actually wasn't or something. I can't remember. It was terrible. It was the worst blush I think I've ever used, ever."

"I like to go in with some more blush, which is the Dior one. Blush is something important as a part of giving you that really really healthy glow."

"What I like about this blush is that you can build this up so when you first put it on it's very subtle. I could see where they get the Rosy Glow name from. This doesn't have that flat finish that typical matte powder blushes will have. The glow you're gonna get with this is more of a radiant as opposed to a lot of shimmer. If you do want to intensify the color you just add a couple more layers and you're good to go."
