"I can't remember the last time I've seen people overhype a foundation like this. [...] It's also full of skincare and gives a glow, which doesn't match the blurring, matte claim, and it's so wet that there's no way it would hold up 24 hours in heat and humidity. I can get use out of it when I'm filming, [...] but I don't feel like it's complimentary to my skin and I couldn't wear it out to an event."

"I was disappointed, not because the foundation is bad, but because it was just a foundation. There was nothing super exciting, different, or wow about it. I was like, okay, it's a nice foundation, and I expected that. I know everyone's skin is different, but when everyone of every skin type, age, race, and gender says, 'This is beautiful, you're going to love it,' I'm like, okay, I'm down to try it. It does make a few claims that I find interesting. It says it's a natural blurred finish."

"Dior's Forever Skin Wear matte foundation is reliable, it gets the job done. Overall beauty reviews are a lot more positive on this one than on the glow version. It does oxidize quite a bit more than the glow formula, but in the wear test the matte side held up much better on the pores and had way more product left on the skin, even for normal skin. Dior matte wins, if you want longevity this is the one to get, it's one of my picks along with Double Wear."

"The shade combo of 0.5N and 0N is really nice, actually. I almost wish they just made this shade so I wouldn't have to mix two Dior foundations to get a good match, but it is what it is. "I feel like Dior foundations are always a little bit off in color for me, so I kind of hate how I have to mix two shades, especially of an expensive foundation, to get a good match, but here we are. I'm going to use as little as possible because I still want the skin to look really fresh, even though this is a mattifying long-wear foundation. I don't want to layer it up too much. Then I'm picking up what's left on the back of my hand and pressing it into the skin."

"It gave really nice coverage, but it actually feels really lightweight. A lot of times when I think of matte foundations, at least from the past, I think about heavier foundations, but this is a very lightweight kind of matte foundation. The fact that I didn't even use a primer, I feel like if I prepped the skin like I normally would, it would look even better. But when I try out new foundations, I like to just go in without a primer to see how it holds up on its own."

"They reformulated my holy grail, the Dior Forever Matte, and now the matte one has become Dior Forever Skin Wear Foundation, and this is my favorite of these. [...] It does give me 95% of what the Forever Matte gave me, [...] and it does last all day. But it does get a little bit shiny later on in the day, which I didn't love about it. It's really good, but at $69 versus $46 it doesn't look as good at the end of the day as the other one."
