Acne Patch with Salicylic Acid.

"Full disclosure, this was sent to me by Differin, but I picked this out actually. I was like, well, we'll see if anybody can do it. I feel like Differin can, and they did not disappoint. I was actually very pleasantly surprised and I've already bought another box because these actually work. I was going through quite a bit of chin breakouts, hormonal-based breakouts, a lot worse than I've had in a while. These came in handy because they do have salicylic acid, but as I was looking into the ingredients, I realized these work so well for me because some of my other favorite gentle anti-acne ingredients are in here, including Madecassoside, the active compound in the Centella plant that helps reduce inflammation, really soothe the skin, and also induce healing. But also they're using Houttuynia cordata extract, heart leaf extract. I have been raving about heart leaf for how many years when it comes to acne and breakouts with my skin. There's just something about the ingredient. It's anti-inflammatory, it's soothing. There's kind of like a clarifying effect to it without stripping your skin, without being astringent. And I found great success with that ingredient in various K-beauty products. Centella also really wonderful, and salicylic acid, I mean, that is the exfoliant that goes deep into the pore."
