    What the gurus are saying

The paired cream-and-powder formula in each shade is what stands out, giving people real flexibility to layer or use each texture separately on eyes, brows, lips, or face. The powders are soft and weightless, and the cream component works as a smooth pomade base. One reviewer was initially curious but uncertain; another grew to love the rosy tones and found the dual textures especially useful once she understood how to work with them, though she got more wear from this palette than expected.

"I've been absolutely loving this Danessa Myricks Groundwork Palette. These rosy tones are perfect for spring. It's what I've got all over the eyes. I'm wearing mostly this shade and this color on the lid and then I use this one as like a little bit of an eyeliner which I love it has a little bit of like a purple undertone to it so I think it's really pretty. The thing that I think is so cool about these palettes is you get a cream shadow and then a powder next to it that matches so there's really so much you can do with this. I bought the neutrals palette and I actually have been getting more use out of this more blush tone palette which is interesting but I feel like this palette has helped me figure out how to use the formulas a little bit better so I'm excited to revisit the original palette as well but I'm really happy that I picked this up. I think the tones are perfect for spring."

If I Took You to Sephora, Here's What I'd Buy You! 😍
"I'm really really eyeing the Danessa Myricks Groundwork Palette. I've been hearing a lot of good stuff about it. There's like a cream and a powder if I'm not mistaken in each pan, which is kind of interesting. You're supposed to be able to use it on the brows, eyes, face, and lips, super cool, especially if you're more of like a makeup artist. It seems like something that would be really useful, but I don't know, I have my eye on it."

"I recently picked this up because I got to have all of them. [...] These are like [...] really soft powders, and the larger pan is a Pomade. It's weightless velvet Pomade that works for eyes, brows, face, lips, everything."
