What the gurus are saying

The shaped, soft silicone design with an under-chin panel sets this mask apart from flat competitors, and gurus consistently praise its comfort and comprehensive coverage. The 236 LEDs deliver red (630 nm), near infrared (830 nm), and deep near infrared (1072 nm) light, three wavelengths clinically shown to reduce wrinkles, boost collagen, and improve skin firmness at different depths. The one thing that matters most is consistency; gurus who saw visible results used it daily or every other day, and those expecting change should commit to regular use to notice a difference.

"I've been using this now for I want to say five or six years now consistently, I use this literally every single day. This is the current body series 2 face mask, and I also have the neck and chest as well, and I use the two together at the same time. Everything is a 10 minute treatment. I actually look forward to it every day because I find it to be very relaxing, and I always love the way that my skin looks as well when I'm done, because I've been so consistent with it that now my skin just constantly is bright, it just looks more rejuvenated, more youthful. I have nothing negative to say about this. It has the red, the near infrared light technology as well as deep near infrared, which helps to penetrate even deeper into the tissue to help stimulate collagen further. This is just fabulous, this is 10 out of 10. This is a great at-home device to use on an everyday basis and a great way to help prevent and treat early signs of aging and discoloration in a gentle way. This is so gentle, it is gamechanging."

LUXURY SKINCARE THAT'S ACTUALLY WORTH THE MONEY - MY MOST USED HIGH-END PRODUCTS WITH REAL RESULTS
"With the series 2, this contains more LED bulbs. It also contains deep near infrared along with red and near infrared light. And I can't recommend this enough. This has really made a big difference with my skin. And it's honestly a great product to rejuvenate the skin as well. If you've been wanting to try an LED mask, try the CurrentBody one. This does not disappoint."

"This is one of the best things that I've ever added to my skincare routine. I use the series 2 neck and deck as well as the face mask. This one contains additional LED bulbs from series 1, and it also contains an extra wavelength called deep near infrared, which penetrates even deeper into the skin to help stimulate collagen and to give a brighter complexion. I use this every single morning, and if I don't use this in the morning, then I'm using this at night time. I pretty much use this every single day. It's a 10-minute treatment and I do wear them at the same time. If you struggle with post acne marks, that uneven skin tone, LED therapy can help to even out your skin, brightening up your complexion, helping to stimulate collagen, and it really helps with fine lines and wrinkles."

"It's got 110 of the 633 wavelength, 110 of the 830 wavelength, and 16 of the deep near infrared at 1072. The difference between this mask and other masks is that it's a shaped mask and it has an underneath the chin strap. Most of the other masks are just flat and they don't have anything under here. This is by far my favorite mask and this is the one that I'm using currently. I'm continuing to use it every other day. It's got really great bulb coverage with 115 bulbs. The wavelengths are 633 nm red light and 830 nm near infrared light. It's bigger than most neck and chest masks, so it covers more area. It goes deeper and gives me more bulbs around the sides of my neck. I just started using this one maybe around Black Friday, so I've only had it for about a month, but this is the one that I'm going forward with this year."

BEST Early Black Friday Beauty DEALS!
"I've compared all the deals on all the masks and I've got to say the best deal for the best mask is the one from Current Body. This is the Current Body Series 2 mask. There's a couple things that make this mask so special. Number one is the number of bulbs. The average red light mask will have between 50 and 65 bulbs of each color. This mask has 110 bulbs of each color of the red and the near infrared. That means that every inch of your face is getting bathed in that red light, that near infrared light that really is going to help. Those are the most proven wavelengths with the most study on them that they are actually going to help your skin. And they're also the most accurate bulbs on the market. So much so that it comes with a bulb accuracy certificate for you so that you know that these bulbs are accurate within 2 nanometers."

"As good as the old one, but with a few improvements, so the Series 2 is the one I am reaching for regularly now. In the evenings I use it, which takes 10 minutes and can be done right after removing your makeup and cleansing the skin, a great way to unwind before bed. I aim for five nights a week. Looking at comfort, ease of use and relaxation, the Currentbody LED Light Therapy Face Mask Series 2 is still the one. Feeling like you take care of your skin by laying back on the couch for ten minutes is unbeatable."

"A downside of the Series 2 face mask seems to be the need to be charged more frequently. People commented on that when I reviewed it, and after using it for more than a year now I agree that while the Series 1 still lasts two weeks without charging, pushing on three, my Series 2 one now needs to be charged weekly."

Currentbody LED Mask Series 2 Review: Do You Really Need the Upgrade? | Doctor Anne
"Very helpful when you sit upright is the new multi-way strap. Instead of having just one that fits behind the back, there's an additional one that you can adjust yourself to go over the head, which is great for keeping the mask in place and for ensuring a snug fit around the jawline. Two of the changes address the minor complaints I had with series 1, the coverage of the chin area and the strap to go on top of the head. So, for me, the CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Mask Series 2 is the better one out of the two. Would I have bought a new series 2 if I still had a fully functioning series 1 at home, which I've had 3 years and still going strong? Probably not, as it is quite an investment, and the difference in results to expect is minimal. But if I was looking for a mask to buy and had to decide between these two, I would go for the newer model. But no matter which one you choose and use, be patient. Seeing the subtle results it might give you will take time. If you're hoping for overnight miracles, LED therapy in general might disappoint you. It's the consistency over weeks and months that makes the difference, not a single session."

"The second item I want to mention from CurrentBody is their new CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Mask Series 2. I haven't done a video yet, I'm still testing, but the design is really different and I am digging it. It has a lot more lights than the previous version, I think it's 236 versus 132, plus it also has a new extra deep infrared wavelength. This mask by CurrentBody, it's their second generation mask, and it's really different than anything else I've tried. It is so incredibly lightweight, you don't even feel it. The cool thing too is it has these built-in goggles which are super soft and they don't press into your face, which is why I never wear the goggles with masks, because they just leave these huge indentations, that's the last thing I want. Plus they actually protect your eyes, it completely blocks out the light, you do not see it, and I know that some people are really sensitive to that light so it kind of solves all those problems. This also has a variety of wavelengths, it has red, infrared, blue, and yellow lights."

"CurrentBody's CB2 red light therapy mask is easily my most used skincare device this year. I test a lot of LED red light therapy masks, and the reason the CurrentBody Series 2 is the one I'm reaching for the most is because it's so comfortable, it's only ten minutes, and it's easy to travel with, so I can stay consistent. I know it's going to give me the right wavelengths and the right dose, but the reason I reach for it is comfort over anything else. I'm probably the most consistent ever using LED red light therapy because of this mask."

"Current Body came out with the new Series 2 mask. If you're dedicated to wanting a panel, this is the most comfortable. It also comes with deep near infrared around the bug bear areas that we have around our eyes and lip area. Love this. The most comfortable designed mask I've tried this year."

"My most used skin device was the CurrentBody LED therapy mask, the Series 2. It fits the face so beautifully and is fabulous. Since I was pregnant all year I couldn't use microcurrent, so LED was one I could use, and it works so well and improves your skin over time."

a few things that have brought me joy lately ❤️‍🩹
"It was pretty gloomy and snowy here, which really did a number on my mood, and I've just craved light, so something that really helped me was this CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Mask, the Series 2 mask. I've talked about this before, it's so fabulous, fits like a glove. I liked it, and I still love it, because it's so bright and I could just close my eyes and pretend I was on a beach somewhere. It was also nice because I don't personally like to multitask with an LED light mask on, so I felt like I was able to just take a break from everything and let my mind rest as much as possible. I really enjoyed that all over again. I'm still enjoying that, it's so great."
The Absolute BEST MAKEUP from September 2024 😍
"This is the CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Mask Series 2 and it is so good. I've always been a fan of LED light therapy and because I've been able to use it for over a month I can honestly say this is my favorite LED mask that I have tried. It's so innovative even down to the shape and the materials. If you've seen most LED masks they're very flat and it kind of isn't the most comfortable thing on the face, but this has a gorgeous soft silicone shape and it actually has a panel underneath the chin that has lights in it as well but it's already molded in a more circular way so it is the most comfortable mask. There's the two straps on the side but it also comes with a strap for the top as well if you want a little extra support. Another really fabulous little detail that they thought of was to put a clip on the little power button right here because there's nothing worse than having your LED mask and needing to go walk around somewhere, and I would always just stuff this in my shirt or try to fit it in the elastic of my pants and it would always fall and unplug, but this has a nice little clip."

"For anti-aging, you really want to look for devices that contain red light, near infrared light, and better yet deep near infrared light to give you a more comprehensive treatment to improve those fine lines, wrinkles, and skin firmness. Since wavelengths are essential for the efficacy of the mask, this is why I love the CurrentBody Series 2 LED mask because it does really contain all three lights that have been shown and backed by clinical studies to have an effective result on your skin when it comes to skin rejuvenation. It contains a red light at 630 NM, the near infrared light at 830 NM, as well as the deep near infrared light at 1072 NM combining together to give you the results that you're looking for. Now having the right wavelength is only part of the story. You need to make sure that the device also has enough LEDs to work effectively to deliver that energy, and this is where the CurrentBody Series 2 LED mask contains 236 LED lights to really give you that comprehensive full facial treatment to deliver optimal and even treatments. I also love that CurrentBody not only makes effective masks based on the wavelength and the number of LED lights, but you also know that you're getting a high quality product that actually does what it claims to do and is effective. All of CurrentBody's masks undergo rigorous testing for quality control."

"The first thing on my gift guide is the CurrentBody Skin LED Light Therapy Mask Series 2. I have this Series 2 mask but I also own the original CurrentBody mask, which was fine, it had the right wavelengths of light, but I didn't feel like it fit the face as perfectly as it could have. They've made so many upgrades for the Series 2 mask. The way this newer mask fits the face is so much better, it's comfortable, it wraps around your face, and it has an additional strap that goes over the top of your head so it's really secure. Aside from the mask being more comfortable and a better fit for your face, they've also added an additional wavelength of light to this mask. When we think about the benefits of red light LED, there are a few different wavelengths that make it the most therapeutic: one is red light, which is 633 nanometers, two is near infrared light, which is 830 nanometers, which is what most masks have, but now more red light masks are incorporating a third wavelength of light that penetrates even deeper for even better collagen stimulation, and that's 1072 nanometers. So this mask is essentially hitting skin rejuvenation at all the right levels. I've definitely talked about other light therapy masks that I've used in the past and loved, but the thing that's going on with this CurrentBody mask that is sort of above and beyond is the way they've distributed the light bulbs. For a lot of masks that are out there, you don't get a great distribution of light around the eyes and around the lips, but those are two of the areas that often need the most help when it comes to skin rejuvenation, so I love that the Series 2 mask has such great distribution there."

"This mask has red, near infrared, and deep near infrared light, all which attack different things. The red light helps with wrinkle reduction, inflammation reducing, etc., whereas the near infrared can also go in a little bit deeper into your mitochondria to help with cellular regeneration. But the deep near infrared light can go even deeper into the subcutaneous tissue, even affecting muscle enhancement and muscle tone. So it really does hit three different levels. One out of four light bulbs are used in production when they make this mask and they guarantee quality control. They have a program in which they are checking the wavelength of every single individual LED that is put into this mask. Current Body through their program now allows you to see every single light bulb that they used in their mask to guarantee that it is adequately quality controlled. The key with this mask, like any device that you're going to use, is going to be consistency. If you're going to want to see results with this, you want to use it every single night."
