    What the gurus are saying

This balm's green undertone creates a shadow-like shade rather than the warm bronze finish of typical drugstore contours, making it especially striking for pale olive skin. It blends smoothly without disturbing foundation, and the less-saturated formula won't look orange, red, or purple on olive complexions the way many contours do. Those with cool undertones may find it slightly too gray for the front of the face, but it works beautifully for jawline contouring.

"In terms of creams, if you're looking for a more olive contour shade, Covergirl Skin Enhancer Balm in the shade Defined is incredible. Like, look at that. It's amazing. If you just hold it next to like where my skin naturally shows shadows, it's like the same color. It's so incredible."

    THIS replaced THAT
"The CoverGirl True Blend Skin Enhancer in the shade Defined has absolutely replaced my Sephora contour stick. The reason I love it so much is because there's like a decent amount of green in it, which is incredible for someone who is more olive and pale. If you have a very light skin tone, it's hard to find a contour that isn't going to look orange, red, purple. It's very pigmented. It's perfection. It's such perfection."

"My most recent favorite, which has actually replaced the second one that I'll talk about, is the CoverGirl True Blend Skin Enhancer in Defined. I'm obsessed with this contour. It is perfection if you are a pale, warm olive undertone because it has so much green in it. It's so fantastic. If it ends up looking really orange, this might actually work. It might just end up looking a little too ashy if you have more like pink in your skin, but if you're like me and you're warm, this is perfect. It's so perfect. It's like the most perfect contour color I've ever used ever in my entire life. And the best thing about it is that it's not so overly saturated. It's pigmented and it really gets it done, but it's easy to blend. It's not like so dark. I feel like a lot of contours, even for pale skin, are really dark, and it can be really difficult. So this is fantastic. If you're olive, this would be my recommendation."

"The CoverGirl True Blend Skin Enhancer in the shade Defined. It's my favorite contour in the entire world. It's a little bit too cool toned for my nose, especially with my hair this color."
    This makeup is PERFECT
"This is the CoverGirl True Blend Skin Enhancer Contour Balm Stick in the shade Defined. [...] It's got quite a green base. This is a beautiful contour color for pale olive skin. So beautiful. It has a very green base compared to my Sephora contour stick which is a little bit more on the purpley side. So which might be better if you are a cool toned olive and your shadows end up looking a little bit more on the purpley side. But if you have a little bit more warmth in your skin then [...] this is pretty nice. It's basically my exact contour or shadow color."

"I've been really excited about this contour stick. If you have been following my channel and you know about the Sephora contour stick in fair light, I think I might like this better, especially if you are really really pale. It's less saturated. This is such a good contour color if you're looking for one. And like I said, it's not as saturated. So, you can see it's not like the Sephora one is just like gray. I mean, this is gray, but it's just not as dark."

"My contour color is defined from CoverGirl. It's the Skin Enhance Balm. Beautiful contour. Beautiful. Especially if you are like a pale to light and you have more pale to light skin and you have like a little bit more green in your skin. If you feel like contours end up looking a little too orange, red or purpley on you, this is a really great option. But I wouldn't use this in the front of my face like right here because it's just going to look a little too gray toned. What I mostly use it for is shading underneath the jawline."

"I'm going to stick to my favorite contour product. This is the CoverGirl True Blend Skin Enhance Contour Balm in the shade Defined. It's such a perfect contour shade if you are close to my skin tone. If contours end up looking orange, red, maybe too purpley, maybe it's just too brown, um, I would say warm in general. It has a lot of green in it, which is like amazing, especially if you're someone who is more on the olive side, or maybe you have just like a little more yellow in your skin. It looks exactly like my natural shadow color."

"So that's the highlight, from CoverGirl. And they also do these blushes as well. You can use with a brush. You can use with your finger. The formula of this is a tiny, tiny bit more... The MUA just feels matter. I wouldn't say any of them are better than each other. You just have a different shade range in each. Just have different color options in each, which is really nice."

Full Face of New Makeup: This Went WAY Better Than Expected!
"The shade sculpted by itself looks like this. It's very balmy. Like, it's almost wetter than a lot of balms you would use. Almost more serumy than a lot of these contour balms are. It blends really nicely though. It's sitting really nicely with my foundation. This is what color your contour should be. Well done, Covergirl. That's great for a drugstore contour. It's a beautiful shade. A lot of drugstore contours you just get bronzer. But these are actually that nice grayish dusky shadow like shades that a contour should be. I love that it's not removing my foundation underneath. It's just sitting really nicely with it. Perfect contour shade. It's not bronze. It's not warm. It just looks like shadow. Love that. I think that's beautiful. Well done, Covergirl. That's really nice."
