What the gurus are saying

Gurus praise this toner for layering seamlessly under actives like retinoids and benzoyl peroxide without irritation, and for delivering a dewy finish once fully absorbed. The main trade-off is timing: it works best in evening routines or on dry mornings, as the hydrating formula can feel occlusive in morning routines for oily skin types. All agree it's a quality product with thoughtful ingredients, though absorption takes patience.

"I'm going to use the tear tier milky toner despite what it looks like. I've been using this for some time and it just never seems to go down. It's a very nice, more on the moisturizing side of milky toners but still nice and light. It smells a little bit like plastic."

"Layers so well with acne treatment products that are really drying if you're using like a retinoid gel or a benzoyl peroxide wash this is so good"

Anua Skincare 🆕 7 Rice Ceramide Hydrating Barrier Serum Review, How to Use, Dupes & Alternatives
"I most often use it in my evening routine but certain days in the morning when my skin's feeling dry. It feels nice to use but for oilier skin I have a feeling that using this in your morning routine especially if you're going to use it with sunscreen and anything else it could be a bit over the top and a bit too much. Just pat it to soak it in but it does take a little bit of time to soak in. If you have oily skin using it at night is great then you just let it soak in while you're sleeping. Once it soaks in it goes to kind of a radiant finish which is nice and glowy. The beneficial ingredients in this one include rice bran water which is emollient, rice extract which is soothing and emollient, niacinamide which is anti-acne and skin brightening, hydroxyurea which is a urea derivative with humectant benefits, panthenol which is a great soothing and hydrating ingredient, sodium hyaluronic which is another good humectant, and Cornus officinalis leaf extract which is anti-inflammatory and really good for hydrating skin and I can't say I've ever seen it before in another product."
