It's that it's got poly glutamic acid in it, which I don't know why brands are not so generous with this ingredient because it compliments hyaluronic acid really well or performs really well on its own because it is hydrating but it creates this slippery soothing film on the surface of the skin to also reduce water loss. So it has occlusive properties but it's not heavy."
