It's better known for its snail secretion filtrate contents about 72% as well as the 5% of niacinamide that's the difference between this product and the original COSRX 92 snail mucin power Essence. The [...] 5% is definitely a great amount for brightening the skin, but it's also an effective amount for stimulating your body's production of serum cholesterol and fatty acids so it actually really helps to support your skin barrier. Really brightens the skin, it also helps with collagen stimulation so well aging, brightening, barrier support, it's a goodie. Along with the snail which is also a natural antioxidant, it helps to promote wound healing on the skin. It's very hydrating, it's very barrier supportive. Some studies suggest it may also help with collagen stimulation and just that well aging journey can help to address photo damaged skin from exposure to the sun so sun damage. Amazing overall."

"I would not repurchase the Advanced Snail Radiance Dual Essence, because I did not appreciate any improvement above and beyond what either their power essence or their cream already offers me. It has some unique ingredients the others don't, five percent niacinamide and glutathione, and if you have a tendency toward hyperpigmentation you might see a bit more improvement in discoloration from those than I did, though I can't promise that will happen. Looking at the cost per ounce, those unique ingredients just didn't offer me anything above and beyond. If you're sensitive to niacinamide, stick with their essence or their cream instead."

"My absolute favorite for barrier repair is the COSRX Advanced Snail Radiance Dual Essence. This contains the iconic snail mucin essence along with a creamy, nice, cinnamony kind of serum. Snail mucin has been shown to help with barrier repair, wound healing, and skin regeneration, so we're talking about that burning, itching sensation, the redness, acne. It's a great all-round ingredient that if your skin is easily sensitized, sensitive, or damaged, it's a great ingredient to use to help restore your skin. We also have niacinamide in here, which is another skin barrier repairing product that helps boost products like your moisturizers as well as helping even out your skin tone and reduce the appearance of pores. There's five percent niacinamide in here, so a great percentage that's not too much. It's perfect to add that kind of extra hydration, moisturize, dewy look to your skin. I love this product so much. I'm always like if you get one thing from COSRX, if the first thing you should try is their exfoliants and this product for sure."
