Sometimes I do also put a layer in between my toner and essence and serum just to get a little extra blast of the ingredients. And remoisturizing your skin care layers kind of helps it absorb into your skin a little bit better, too. So it can function two ways there. And I do notice that with more long-term use, it does help mildly with the redness."
