What the gurus are saying

Gurus love this as a glow product for minimal makeup looks and high points of the face, praising its blurring effect and versatility as a primer or highlighter. The main friction point is texture: those with pores or textured skin report it emphasizes imperfections and can sit greasy, while smooth-skinned users get an airbrushed finish. There's also split opinion on coverage and whether it justifies the premium price against cheaper dupes, though fans note the full-size tube lasts years and the mini is better for most users.

"I really loved just using this plain on my skin. I did say the Charlotte Tilbury ones weren't bad. I really like this, but then I remember her telling me it's not a foundation. So, then I kind of just slowed down and stopped using it so much because I'm like, well, maybe it's not giving me enough coverage. I've got melasma, hyperpigmentation. I want to cover all of that up."

"This is the Hollywood Flawless Filter. There's been so many dupes of this one, but it's just great on those high points, just in small high points. Not everywhere, but just a little bit because it not only gives glow, which we love, but it actually blurs and smooths the skin a little bit. So I use it on these little areas and you don't have to put it on the whole face, just the high points. I like to use quite minimal of it. When you're going to a big glam event, there's flash photography, there might be heaps of people in the room, meaning you might get a bit flustered. You know, warm environment. Sometimes you don't want to overglow your skin. So just very minimal, really small concentrated dots of glow is actually enough. Don't overglow your face."

"This is my favorite highlighter. It's the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter. But the fullsize tube of this is just so big. I think I've had mine for maybe four years. The mini is so perfect. It's also great for travel. But it's just a great size if you don't wear a ton of makeup."

SEPHORA HOLIDAY SALE STARTS TODAY!! My Top Picks
SPRING Sephora SALE! Top Picks for Mature Skin!
"My favorite highlighter to pick up in the sale is the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter, but this is so huge. If you're never going to use this all, get the mini. Do yourself a favor. The mini is great for travel, it's great for everyday. You will actually go through this. This is just so enormous. But I wear this in shade four and I love it. Have it on my cheeks today. Just love that extra pop. Just makes the cheeks look so full and so beautiful."
Sephora Holiday SALE! What to Buy | My Top Picks!
"My tried and true one that I've loved for years is the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter. This comes in more shades so you can get a shade. I wear it in shade four and this is more of a golden glow. I feel like it has more pigment in it so it more like colors your skin a little bit. It's beautiful."

"You didn't need as much of the Charlotte Tilbury to get it to spread. The Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter has been a popular product and I can see why. It's really pretty if you're going for a very minimal makeup look or just want a glow underneath your foundation."

This Makeup CEO Is Insufferable! | MCO beauty Takes Things WAY TOO FAR!
"The Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter is definitely high end. It's a really interesting product because it's become the subject of comparison in the beauty community due to similar products at lower price points, but the Charlotte Tilbury version itself represents the premium end of the market."
People Are LYING About liking these products!
"I've tried the Hollywood Flawless Filter. On me, there was nothing flawless about it. This product, again, in Charlotte Tilbury style, was kind of greasy. It sat kind of greasy on the skin. It doesn't smooth. It isn't like, oh my gosh, my skin looks like it's been filtered. No, it just looks like your skin has a glow. Is it a nice glow visually? Yes. On my skin, it didn't sit so well."

"I'm going in with Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter just to kind of prep. I want glow in the outer perimeter of my face around my cheekbones."

"I'm going to use Charlotte Tilbury's Hollywood Flawless Filter as my complexion base. I would adjust this for your skin tone since this comes in multiple colors. Mine is in Fair and it has a lot of yellow undertones. The Hollywood Flawless Filter gives a little bit more coverage and isn't as sheer as other options, but it also gives me a more tanned look. Make sure you get in your under eye area because this is going to be the only complexion product that you're going to be using for concealer and you want to give that blended look from your cheek to your under eye."

"This adds glow to the skin, a little hint of coverage, can be used as highlighter as a primer. I typically use it as a glowy primer. The formula is really beautiful. It's a little bit of a deeper shade, but I can't really tell a difference even though the shade is a little darker."

YOUR Daily Makeup That Nobody Talks About (Anymore)
"The Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter, I feel like the majority of us have that in our collection because there was a time where literally everybody was using it. But I haven't really seen as many people talk about it anymore, which is actually nuts. It feels so nice on the skin honestly."

"This is a texture monster. I don't have large open pores, so it gives me this really soft airbrushed finish, but if you have texture, if you have enlarged pores, if you have oily skin, if you have anything happening, this is not for you. I've recommended this to friends and family and some of them have bought it and they've been like, upon it looks bad on us. I think this is a product which is overhyped. You don't want to bother yourself with it."
