"One of my favorite products for step three is the CeraVe Ultra Light Moisturizing Lotion that also has SPF 30 in it. I love this one because it is so lightweight on the skin. People with oily skin types actually really love this, and also it has a matte finish so that helps reduce some of the shine on the skin as well."

"It's a pure chemical sunscreen. It blends well with three essential ceramides and hyaluronic acid. Yes, it's hydrating, yes it's moisturizing, yes it's your moisturizing SPF, pretty easy to wear for I would say absolutely anyone. It's a good sunscreen."

"This is an SPF 30 chemical sunscreen so there's no white cast with this one whatsoever. It's super lightweight and hydrating. No niacinamide in this one, so if you're looking for a daily facial moisturizer with sunscreen and you don't want to use niacinamide because it burns or stings, try this one out because it's really a nice formula. It builds itself as having a matte finish. I would say it's more demi matte, but it's definitely not super shiny or super oily or greasy. This is a chemical sunscreen, so while some people don't get along with chemical sunscreens and they burn or sting, for me personally this causes no issues around my eyes. It doesn't burn, it doesn't sting. It's lovely."

"The Ultra Light is silky, much lighter, just a couple swipes and it disappears, and it has that matte finish too. It's quite different from the AM, much more lightweight texture. I like this one a lot. I actually do prefer this over the AM for myself in the summertime when I will have oilier skin and that shiny forehead look. I will gravitate to this big time. I don't want anything thick. Definitely this is my go-to walking into clinic. When you're indoors and you're not by a window, you can just apply once and that's good for 8 hours of coverage so you don't have to reapply while you're indoors. This is good, just one application before going out the door to go to clinic is what you need to protect yourself and your commute. This one I'd say still has a place in my practice for those kids with acne prone skin or young adults with acne prone skin. Both have their place and they're both similar in price, less than $20. If I were to rate this, I'd say this is an 8.5 out of 10. This has potential to be great and better but still a very good product."

"CeraVe's ultra light moisturizing lotion SPF 30 is a chemical UV filter combination but you can tell it's very much lightweight. This one rubs in really well, it's way less thick than the AM, and it rubs in very nicely just a couple strokes and it disappears. This one does not have the niacinamide like the AM, though for your everyday sunscreen that you want to apply before going in the office this is great. You want to use enough though, quarter of a teaspoon amount for your face, so just keep that in mind if you want the full SPF 30 coverage. Put an adequate amount of your moisturizer with sunscreen."
