"They have this gel oil. I haven't seen it in a while, so fingers crossed they didn't discontinue it, but the gel oil was really good if you had flaky skin to massage on in a circular fashion to help that to exfoliate a little bit better without disrupting the skin barrier. It was also really good on the lips."

"It's their Skin Renewing Gel Oil. And I used to love this product. I stopped buying it the last couple years, but it's so good for like skin slugging, you guys. You know, winter's coming and if you're going to be slugging your skin, which is putting on a really heavy occlusive layer of something at night to keep all the hydration in, this is a really great product to do that with and it's going to be on sale."

"I've been using this for years. I use this sometimes on my neck when it's looking particularly crepey. Because this isn't actually a petrolatum-based product—not that I'm against petrolatum by any stretch of the imagination, I think it's awesome—I like this because it really is kind of like a dry oil, almost, and it's really great. It's got ceramides in it, it's got lots of really good ingredients. I just put a couple of squirts of this on my neck sometimes, I'll use it on my lips, and sometimes on my eyelids at night, and it just really helps to calm and soothe but also lock in that moisture overnight. It's great, especially this time of year."

"For skin slugging, I use the CeraVe Skin Renewing Gel Oil. You're just going to coat up your whole face and your neck with that when you go to sleep and that is just going to really lock everything in onto your face all night. It can get a little messy especially if you're a side sleeper, but if you sleep on your back that will create this barrier on your skin that will let less water escape and will keep all your hydrating ingredients in. I love this one because it does contain ceramides and so it is feeding your skin with those ceramides that are so important."

"What I like to use for slugging is the CeraVe Skin Renewing Gel Oil. This has ceramides in it and it is a greasy base but it's not a super heavy greasy base, so like if I get it on my pillow it doesn't leave a grease slick. But I really like this one. Basically I do my entire skincare routine at night and then after my final moisturizer I just take a big glue of this and I just slather it all over my face and all over my neck. Basically what it does is just trap the water and all the moisturizers into your skin overnight."
