"It's essentially a mix of like peppermint oil, rosemary, and a ton of fragrances that you don't really want in skin care or a product that you're going to be reapplying throughout the day. It's got some grape extract in there, which is nice, and rose oil, fine. It's a very refreshing spray, if you want to call it that. I find it absolutely horrific. It's minty. It's like spraying a cold mint all over your face, and you get a tingle, which is mostly from peppermint and alcohol. You can feel that evaporation, not from anything really improving your skin or refreshing your skin. And in fact, for sensitive skin, that combination of fragrance and essential oils in here is going to be more irritating than beneficial."

"This is spicy water. They call it a reverse tile refreshing facial mist and rich with botanical extracts. This has a few things that my skin hates: bitter orange, rose because it stinks, peppermint and myrrh, both of which my skin really despises. Peppermint is a known irritant anyway, but it gives you an overwhelming menthol feeling that just lingers and hangs in the air and makes your skin feel like it's got static, like you got pins and needles in your face, and it just lingers for so long. It was like a stinging sensation more than a cooling sensation. It was too much. I do not want to be picking menthol anything on my skin."

"The Caudalie Beauty Elixir, that product is the bane of my existence. The purpose of a facial spray is to hydrate your skin, correct? However, the main ingredient in this spray is denatured alcohol. What does denatured alcohol do? Dries the skin out. If you keep using this facial spray on your skin expecting hydration but the main ingredient dries out the skin, what do you think is going to happen to your skin? And then because it's dry you're like, oh my gosh I need to spray more on my face, which increases the dryness and then it's a lose-lose situation except guess who's the only one winning? Caudalie. When you have to keep reapplying the product over and over again because your skin is dry, it's just a formula that really annoys me. I mean, to be honest, most facial sprays really annoy me. I get it though, it smells nice, but get a perfume, don't use that."

"I just lightly pat that into my skin. It's full of antioxidants so great for signs of aging, great to protect your skin from pollution, and this is also a product that can help to reduce redness as well. I use this every day twice a day."

"Alcohol is actually listed as the second ingredient followed by a bunch of fragrances and essential oils. Alcohol can be helpful in skincare products as an astringent and can make products feel very light, however it can also be drying to the skin, especially when it's listed in the front of the ingredient list, which means it's at a higher concentration. I'm not a huge fan of essential oils and so many fragrances for people with sensitive skin. When I'm having a rosacea flare, if I'm having a breakout, if my skin barrier is damaged and it's all red and irritated, I'm definitely steering clear of any products with fragrance. If someone tends to have sensitive skin, I actually would advise them to not use this facial mist."
