What the gurus are saying

Experts who tested it found the formula works well for cutting down callus buildup and healing dry, cracked heels when used a few nights a week. A little goes a long way with this thick ointment, and the gurus suggest soaking feet first, then applying a thin layer and covering with socks overnight to let it penetrate. Some also use it around nails and cuticles to calm hangnails and ragged skin.

"The best one in my opinion is Carousel Intensive Foot Repair. It just works really well. You actually don't need much of this, just a tiny thin film because it is a really thick ointment and it stays on the skin well. I recommend soaking the feet first because it allows for better penetration of the active ingredient. At night after you get out of the shower and the feet have just been soaked, pad dry the skin, apply this, and cover with socks and sleep that way if you can tolerate it. It really helps calluses tremendously. This is also a great thing for warts too."

"Another nail product that I really like is actually the Carousel Intensive Foot Repair. If you've watched some of my other Instagram videos you know that I love this for dry cracked heels, but it's also actually amazing around the nails. The way I would apply this is to just take a very small amount and apply it to the cuticle and around the proximal nail fold a few nights a week. That's going to help soften the skin around your nails as well as make it more moisturized. I find that if you're dealing with a lot of hang nails or ragged cuticles, this is a really good way to calm them down quickly."
