What the gurus are saying

Some found this oil cleanser left skin feeling super dry and tight despite its ceramides. Others found it effective for makeup removal. The strong rosemary scent was also a concern. Those with sensitive or dehydrated skin may want to patch-test first.

"When it comes to oil cleansers, I don't really feel like you need to spend a whole bunch of money unless there's a specific sensorial experience that you're looking for. I feel like almost any oil cleanser is going to do its job of removing your makeup. Let's try this BYOMA Milky Oil Cleanser. Massage into the skin with your fingertips, add warm water, and lather to create a milky consistency. That did a good job."

"For 14 bucks, the BYOMA Milky Oil Cleanser made my skin feel super, super dry and tight, and it had a strong rosemary oil scent to it. I actually bought it and returned it, one of the very few things I've returned this year. Typically I might return like a couple products a year because I'm buying them to review them, so I don't really think I have a right to return things unless they're just so bad, and that was one of them where I was like, even for 14 bucks, it's bad."

"The next product is from BYOMA. The Milky Oil Cleanser is £4 for 100 ml. The first ingredient again is olive fruit extract, two out of five on the comedogenic scale. I like it because it has ceramides in it, it's a hydrating formula, and it's NAIF safe. So, as you can see, I really like this product."
