"It's got myristic acid, which is three out of five on the comedogenic scale. You want to avoid this if you have oily, acne prone skin. And the problem is this whole range has been made for teens and tweens who, guess what, tend to have more oily acne prone skin. So this isn't making much sense. The positives of this product is it's got niacinamide and ceramides. So what I would say is I actually really love this product if you have very dry skin or if you have eczema. But if you have oily, acne prone skin and you're a teenager, then this is one to avoid."

"It's fine for breaking down sunscreen, but waterproof mascara, absolutely not. [...] It took ages for me to work this into my lashes to be able to break down my waterproof mascara, and even then I had flakes left over and I just couldn't rub my eyes anymore. So I personally would not recommend this product. [...] I used it to remove sunscreen and stuff and then do my regular cleansing, but it definitely doesn't remove waterproof mascara, so I wasn't really a fan of this."

"This cleansing balm is $16 with great ingredients like olive oil, grape seed oil, sea buckthorn, and niacinamide. I had previously tried the Byoma cleanser and was just not a fan of it, way too drying on the skin, but they recently came out with this and I was like, you know what, I'm going to give it a shot. I am truly impressed with how luxurious this formula feels for the price point that they sell it at. I found myself returning to this cleansing balm over and over because it really did feel like that nice fancy aesthetic cleansing balm experience without breaking the bank. The best part is that you can find it at Target and maybe other drugstores too. It really is the best cleansing balm formula that I've been able to find at the drugstore. It's not as luxurious of an experience as some higher-end options, but it feels so much better than every other cleansing balm that I have used from the drugstore, and trust me, I've used all of them. If you're wanting to ease up on your wallet while still getting a good cleansing balm experience, I definitely recommend getting this one. Only minor downside is that it does include some fragrant essential oils and I would say this has the most pungent smell out of all the cleansing balms, like you definitely notice that it's there, but it's not too overpowering or in your face."

But it has a really nice buttery texture that feels really nice when you apply it to your skin, and it's also quite moisturizing. "I really like this better than the Versed one, and the reason being is because this one reminds me more of the Pharmacy Green Clean. The Versed one will leave some type of residue left behind and it just has a different texture. This one has lipids, it has grapeseed oil and it has olive fruit extract and it does have a little bit of a mild fruity scent to it, it's honestly really mild, maybe even like a slight lemon scent. I really do like it and you're getting 60 grams of product and it is more affordable than the Pharmacy. I can see this being a new addition in my nighttime skincare routine. This is great to remove your makeup and sunscreen as that first cleanse and I really do like the BYOMA line so far and this has to be one of my favorites."

"This isn't Byoma's finest product, it's a little strange. This brand is almost entirely fragrance-free, but this product has an essential oil, rosemary oil, and it doesn't really smell great to me. As far as using it, it's fine, there's nothing inherently wrong with it, I just didn't find it to be, in my opinion, the best of Byoma. On a technicality it does what a cleansing balm needs to do, it's effective for removing makeup, removing sunscreen, it does emulsify, it's just not my absolute favorite."

"Once the micellar water phase is over, I go in with either a balm or an oil. Personally I prefer the balms, and I've chosen BYOMA. This is my first time using this and I have to say I really like it. This is called the Melting Balm Cleanser, retails for about 17 euros, and I found it really effective. There's some that kind of leave a film, or they bother your eyes, and this doesn't do any of those things. I've used some less expensive balms that just sting, I just don't like them. So this is just a little bit more luxurious than some of those, and I found it highly effective. I think it's also refillable, which would be great if that's true. I don't have any idea where to buy the refill packs, but it must be online at Boots, and I think anything that's in that refillable space is great."

"This is an affordable version that I actually think is exceptionally good, it only costs I think in the region of $17. You can pick this up at Boots, you can get it at Target. What is so interesting about it is the texture, it's sort of soft. A lot of balms are kind of hard and then it melts into the skin, this isn't. This is actually really, really soft and what it does is it just melts into the skin and it is totally effective at removing makeup. This is probably the only affordable balm that does a good job and I love it, so this was a real winner, super excited about that."
