What the gurus are saying

This serum gets repurchased obsessively because it delivers the kind of barrier repair that dermatologists praise for healing over-exfoliated skin, all at around fifteen dollars. The ceramide and squalane blend absorbs without heaviness, and reviewers compare it to significantly more expensive products. One caveat: the thirty-millilitre bottle runs out quickly with regular use.

"This is the BYOMA hydrating serum. It is so good, I think it should cost more. I have easily gone through 10 bottles of this stuff, and I'd have to say it's probably my most repurchased serum. It's lightweight, it's barrier friendly, and it is super hydrating. I just wish it lasts longer, it never seems to last very long, but I will definitely be repurchasing."

"The first product for me was an absolute no-brainer, it is a Holy Grail product. I have purchased this so many times, it is bonkers. It's called the BYOMA Hydrating Serum. It does exactly what you want it to do, it makes my middle-aged 53-year-old skin feel hydrated, and let me tell you that is no small task. This is hands down the best affordable Hydrating Serum I have ever tried, it's actually one of the best at any price range in my opinion. There's probably only one other serum that I like as much as this, and I would put them side by side, and that one is four times the price. So I think I've purchased at least 10 of these, no joke. My only complaint about this product is that I go through it too fast. It's a 30 mil container, which I think is about one fluid ounce, which is standard, but it doesn't feel like there's 30 mls of product in here, it just seems to go so fast. But if it weren't so damn affordable, I mean we're talking 16 bucks for this, I would be kicking up a stink, but it's so good I keep buying it again and again and again. If you need a good Hydrating Serum, check it out."

"Skin barrier completely damaged? If you feel like you've messed up your entire skincare routine and just need something to restore your skin, the BYOMA has a tripeptide complex, ceramides, hyaluronic acid, and different types of that. In terms of look and feel, BYOMA is like a 70% dupe of the Drunk Elephant Hydrating Serum. If you're normal to dry, then the BYOMA is better for you."

"The only Hydrating Serum I bought this year was, when I was in the US, the BYOMA Hydrating Serum, which is amazing. There's very little left behind, it absorbs really well, and I'll use it and finish it. I may or may not repurchase it."

"You get the jelly cleanser and the Hydrating Serum from BYOMA, I've used both of those, they're pretty nice. The Hydrating Serum has ceramides in it and glycerin, so it's very hydrating and helpful for the barrier."

"The Hydrating Serum, the second ingredient is glycerin, the fourth ingredient is squalane which I love as well. It's an occlusive but it's nourishing to the skin. It's my favorite oil. I would recommend it even as a facial oil. Then it's got ceramides and it's knave safe as well. So I do like it. It's good to repair the skin barrier with this. So for example if you've over exfoliated the skin or you're in an environment which is very harsh on the skin, then repairing the skin barrier is something that you would want to do, and I'd recommend this serum to help you."
