What the gurus are saying

The gurus who weighed in praise it as genuinely effective and affordable, with one expert calling it an all-time favorite regardless of price. It's lightweight and hyaluronic acid free, which means those with sensitivity to HA or preference for other humectants may find it a good fit. The one caveat worth noting: the bottle empties quickly, so anyone buying should budget accordingly if they use serum daily.

"It's one of my all-time favorite serums regardless of price. I've probably gone through 10 of these. Super effective, super affordable. I think it comes in around 15 bucks. The only thing I don't like about this is it doesn't seem to last. Every time I use it I question whether there's really 30 ml in there because it empties so quickly. I know how much to use, I know how much comes in a 30 ml container, I use serums every day, but you know what, I just keep repurchasing it because it's really really good."

"Boma also has their hydrating serum with tric ceramide complex squalene and glycerin for 19 bucks. It's very nice, it's lightweight, it's ha free."
