"This particular vitamin C is 3-O ethyl ascorbic acid, which is a form of vitamin C that's a lot more stable than ascorbic acid. But unfortunately it hasn't really been shown to work as far as brightening. It might brighten because it's an antioxidant, but it's not going to get in the skin and boost up collagen production. This has fragrance in it too."
