"The BK Beauty 109 is super similar to the Ulta 102, my partner even felt they were nearly identical with her eyes closed. I guess the BK Beauty is a hair softer, but I don't think softer is everything, sometimes you actually want a bit more stiffness in a brush. As long as you're doing simpler makeup looks, I don't think you need to spend more on brushes when the Ulta one feels this similar."

"The 109 brush is like if the BK 101 and my A506 had a baby. My A506 is the mini version that fits perfectly to do your concealer, and the 101 is my all-time favorite foundation brush, so the 109 is kind of like an in-between size brush. It's great for putting on your foundation but getting it into the smaller places like your upper lip, doing detail work really close right up to the edge of your lip. All the BK brushes are so soft and so beautiful."

"The first one is the BK Beauty 109 brush. The way that this is shaped is so perfect, especially for cream contour. You can also use it for foundation if you want to. I love that it has kind of like this half dome shape. It's so soft and when you use it, it just gets rid of any like streakiness that foundation can give. I love to use it for cream contour because I feel like I can flip the brush this way and really press and sculpt the cheeks with this. It is one of the best brushes out there. And I also feel like the size allows me to get into some of these harder to reach areas while still being very precise, which I really appreciate. So, this is one of my faves."
