What the gurus are saying

Gurus consistently praise the serum's hydrating and plumping effects, lightweight gel texture that layers well, and ingredient lineup. The main complaint centers on the airless pump packaging, which makes it hard to tell when the bottle is empty and wastes product in the corners. At the affordable price point, the formula delivers noticeable improvements in skin elasticity and suppleness, though results are temporary and fade when switching products.

"As far as a poly glutamic acid serum, I have to say I would also rank this underneath the Bioma Phytoin Glow Serum. I think it's better than this. As far as, keep in mind, I'm the weirdo that likes those stringy, slimy textures. That one has the pull of snail mucin. That one comes close to delivering what snail mucin delivers for me. As far as with snail mucin, I get a couple of things. Plump, firm, better elasticity. And I also get really a nice diminishment in the appearance, I should say, of pores. It's only as long as I'm using that and then when I switch to other things, it becomes a bit more obvious. So, it's not like radically changing skin structure or anything. I would say that product, the Bioma Phytoin Glow Serum outranks this for me. This is good. Like, I'll finish it up. It's not bad."

Would I Buy It Again? Derm Empties Review
"Finished up another bottle of the Bioma Phytoin Glow Serum. This stuff is so good. It's nice and viscous, just like I like. It has a hydrating and plumping effect. Layers under sunscreen in the daytime and moisturizer at night beautifully. My one gripe with this product is really the packaging. I feel like I'm guessing as to if it's empty or not because you get down to a part where the pump is not really effectively reaching all of the corners. So you're like, do I still have product in there? It takes a little bit of patience whacking this on the side of your sink to make sure that you get as much product in the area underneath the pump, but you can't really see it. The thing I love about this though is that it has poly glutamic acid which is very hydrating but also kind of creates this nice lightweight veil on the skin to reduce water loss. It's an ingredient that I always really enjoy in moisturizing products, serums. I find that it really helps give my skin some more suppleness, elasticity, smoothness. It works well around the eyelid area as well. You can put it on your neck. I just wish this came in a bigger bottle honestly."

"It's got vegan snail mucin in the form of yamroot. It's got a really nice serumy lotiony gellish texture to it. I just love gel textured stuff because you can layer it so nicely. This stuff's got no scent in it. It's also got a peptide. It's got panthenol and poly glutamic acid for hydration. It's a really nice serum. No fragrance. Pretty affordable, like 14 bucks or so. Really nice product. Highly worth checking out."
