What the gurus are saying

Gurus across the board praise the ingredient lineup, especially the ceramides and licorice root for calming redness without stripping, plus green tea for antioxidant support. Most found it effective as a morning cleanser or second step, though one expert noted it won't fully remove heavy makeup and sunscreen on its own. Those with oily skin or acne concerns may appreciate the salicylic acid and tea tree oil, but anyone with very dry skin may want to skip it or patch-test first given those actives can be drying. At around fourteen dollars, gurus consistently highlight the value against pricier alternatives with similar formulations.

"It doesn't really generate much of a foamy lather, but there is a bit of a silky creamy lather to it. I love that it has licorice root which helps calm down redness. It is anti-inflammatory and it also has ceramide similar to the CeraVe cleansers but without the niacinamide if you are niacinamide overload right now in your skincare routine. This was fine. I didn't have any gripes with it or problems. But the packaging again is a reason why I would not buy this again because I just don't like the uncertainty of if this is truly empty or not."

"The jelly cleanser has ceramides and licorice root and green tea. I love gel cleansers just from the sensory aspect of things. This is a good way to try Bioma though. For $25 you get to try five products. You could do a whole little routine for about a week with these and see how you did with it, decide if you want to commit to the larger versions of these."

"This is a pretty standard cleanser that I would probably use on a regular basis just based on how it felt. This one I would say especially because it has tea tree oil in it and because it has salicylic acid in it. I would say that this is probably best for oily skin or if you're someone who sweats a lot because the salicylic acid goes deep into the pore, clears out the gunk that can cause acne, ingrown hairs, it clears that gunk out and gets it out of the pore. Tea tree oil helps kill bacteria, so it's helpful with acne. If you have very dry skin, I would probably avoid this because I could feel especially with the salicylic acid and the tea tree oil."

"The Bioma Creamy Jelly Cleanser does a pretty good job as a nice morning cleanser. It removes some makeup and sunscreen but it's not tenacious enough to remove all of it. You can use this as a second step cleanser or morning cleanser and it's very nice for both of those. Overall it was very nice and affordable, and the packaging is kind of fun."

"The creamy jelly cleanser has a trice ceramide complex so it doesn't strip the skin. It also has licorice root extract that can brighten the skin and have a similar benefit to vitamin C but without the stinging and the irritation. There's also green tea which really helps to nourish the skin barrier and has antioxidant support. It's a really fun texture to use. You get a lot for your money."

"I love the Bioma Creamy Jelly Cleanser. It's got ceramides in it, it's got glycerin and it's anti-inflammatory."

"The Bioma Creamy Jelly Cleanser has like better ingredients because it has licorice root extract, green tea, ceramides. It's a pretty stacked ingredient list. You get that really deep cleansing experience, and the cleansing ingredients are very similar to more expensive options. It's a very similar type of consistency to higher-priced alternatives but at $14, which is a fraction of the price."
