This balm does last longer than similar products, but gurus find it doesn't actually moisturize well enough to recommend. For very dry lips, you'd need constant reapplication, which defeats the whole point of using a simple balm. It's also just not moisturizing enough for regular everyday use either. And availability is another issue, it's hard to find in stores.

"This is basically just a classic Lip Balm, like a chapstick. Compared to Torriden or other similar lip balms, I feel Bioderma is more long lasting. But if your lips are really dry, even bleeding, this doesn't work well enough, you'd have to reapply constantly, which is too much hassle."
