What the gurus are saying

Gurus split on this one. One praises its reliability, ease of application, and lack of flaking or transfer throughout the day. The other finds it merely okay, citing clumpiness and lash fallout as drawbacks. A shared observation: the curved brush is effective but notably spiky, which some appreciate for precision while others find it uncomfortably poky, especially near the waterline.

"This is the mascara I'm currently using, it's okay. I would not repurchase this. It's by Benefit. Benefit is a little underwhelming. So it gives a nice amount of length to the lashes, but it's clumpy and it tends to fall out a bit."

"I love this. I can almost put it on without looking, it's just one of those quick and easy mascaras. It's quick, it's easy, it doesn't flake during the day, I don't have any transfer, and it's just very reliable. I definitely like the brush on this, the fact that it's curved, but it's very spiky on the end, so if I get too low near my waterline it actually makes me blink really hard because it kind of pokes my eye. The brush is a little bit on the dangerous side, slightly spiky, but the mascara is very similar."
