What the gurus are saying

This serum earns consistent praise for its hydrating texture and barrier-support blend of goat milk, ceramides, and CoQ10, though one expert warns it may sensitize skin when layered with retinoids. The main split is on value: some gurus love it enough to repurchase with their own money, while others find comparable hydration at lower cost elsewhere. Those already using retinoids may want to patch-test first or space applications apart.

"I tried Beekman 1802 a long time ago, and I see what people like about the brand, but I also find them to be a difficult brand for me to use. I noticed that anytime I used my retinoids and then used the Beekman products, the next day just felt more sensitizing. I don't know if it's something to do with the goat milk, or just a me thing, but a lot of people really do like the Beekman 1802 serums. I still do like their body care though."

"I have tried the milk drop serum and that's actually very nice and moisturizing. [...] The milk drops, one of the reasons I liked those is they have ubiquinone, which is CoQ10, an antioxidant that is naturally present in your skin but is lipid loving so it has a relatively decent ability to penetrate the skin depending on the formula of course."

"I've tried this out, it was not 45 dollars good, but it was not bad. Personally I prefer and see better results in terms of hydration with the Timeless CoQ10 serum I use every morning, so I've stuck with that. [...] It's not a bad product, it's good, [...] it has beneficial ingredients, it's hydrating, but it's not like 45 dollars good. [...] Even with the sale I would not buy this myself because [...] the Timeless product is already doing for me what this might provide."

"Beekman 1802's Milk Drop Ceramide Serum is a lightweight ceramide product I love [...] for when the weather gets [...] warmer and I don't want to layer thicker ceramide creams. It's designed to hydrate and strengthen your skin barrier with goat milk, ceramide, squalane and hyaluronic acid. It's not too greasy but not too lightweight either, so you get the nourishment you want from a ceramide product."

How I healed My Broken Skin Barrier In 7 Days
"This is Beekman 1802 and their Milk Drop Ceramide Serum. You may remember this from last year, I'm almost halfway through this stuff because I love it. Beekman 1802 are known for their goat milk, which I love in a number of brands. Goat milk is an ingredient to look out for for irritated skin. You team up those calming benefits with ceramides, which is in here, and you've just got this amazing serum to help strengthen and restore your skin."

"Beekman 1802 has gone from a brand I never heard of to a brand that I absolutely love in the space of a year. Their Milk Drop Serum is one of my favorite serums. I've emptied it. I've given it to friends and family as well to try because I'm like, you will love this."

"I've had sponsorships with this brand, I love this serum though. I bought two of these with my own money after they sent it to me for the sponsorship and I use it like twice a day. It's one of my favorite ceramide serums. It does have a slight Play-Doh smell to it, but that's kind of what you get with unscented skincare."
