"This is the Beauty of Joseon eye cream, a medium strength 0.02% retinol, so it's effective but still very approachable. It's formulated with ginseng extract, a powerful antioxidant, plus collagen peptides and niacinamide, which help support firmness and overall skin smoothness. The texture is super light and runny, spreads easily, and feels very gentle on the skin, there's no irritation at all for me, so it's the kind of retinol you can comfortably use all over your face without stressing about it. If you've never tried an eye cream before, especially in your late teens or early twenties, and you're worried about breakouts or milia, this is a great pick, and it's very affordable, so for young skin I definitely recommend it. But for dry, mature skin I don't really recommend it, and I don't use it that much myself because the texture is so lightweight it's basically a serum, that's why I didn't put it in S tier, it's too light for me."

"This is a skincare favorite of mine from 2022 which I continue to love and adore and use, the Beauty of Joseon Revive Eye Serum with ginseng and retinaldehyde. You can start to notice an improvement in skin smoothness around four to six weeks, then around eight to sixteen weeks you might start seeing some lightening of sunspots or dark discoloration around the eyes, and around sixteen weeks you may notice a diminishment in the appearance of fine lines. It also has niacinamide, which helps lighten sunspots and improve the moisture barrier, and licorice root extract, which is anti-inflammatory and helps with brightening and redness. It's really great, I actually continue to use it on my eyelids, I don't use my prescription retinoid there, and I really like it, no dry eyes."
