"This is their ground rice and honey mask. If you're somebody that loves a mask moment, just a little calming relaxation, this is the mask that I would recommend. It doesn't strip, it doesn't dry, it doesn't turn into like a crust like some masks can. If your mask is drying down completely, chances are it's stripping moisture from the deeper layers of your skin. You want something that still has some malleability after you've applied it. This does. The honey is antimicrobial. Great if you've got rosacea, if you've got breakout-prone skin, acne, this will treat it. The rice enzymes will give a gentle exfoliation, but nothing too harsh. Just leaves your skin feeling fabulous. And you get so much product. I've had this on the go probably for the past four months, and I've barely made a dent in it. It's just beautiful."

"Honey is phenomenal for calming, soothing, anti-inflammatory, and it's great for breakout-prone skin. What I love about this is it's a mask and it doesn't dry completely. It doesn't dry down like a crust, so when you apply this to the skin it goes on a bit like a sleeping mask, but it doesn't dry down so it's not going to be one of those products that goes like a crust and sucks all of the moisture out of your skin. What it actually does is just impart some hydration, some plumping, and it really does help to get your glow game on point. If you're someone that wants to boost radiance in winter but you don't want to use a lot of harsh actives, get this. I use it three times a week and they recommend you leave it on between 10 and 20 minutes. I tend to put it on, go in the bath, and when I come out it's still soft to the touch. It smells like honey, it's got enzymes in here which are going to gently exfoliate and it's got a just a very very touch of manual exfoliation too. "It combines enzyme exfoliation and physical exfoliation because it has a little scrub to it. This is one of those more gentle, finely milled options. It's a beautiful mask that's just got the tiniest granularity to it so you will feel some light sort of abrasion on the skin, dusting off and sloughing off all of those dead skin cells, but it's not going to be irritating. Even people with sensitive skin can use this. The honey in here is fantastic because it's antimicrobial and helps minimize blemishes. I think if you were going to buy one or two products from Beauty of Joseon, everybody should own these because they're just phenomenal. Look at the size that you get, they're good sizes and they're well priced. I absolutely love them."

"This is the Beauty of Joseon Ground Rice and Honey Glow Mask. I love this. I started using it in January this year, and I've used it throughout spring, summer, autumn, and now into winter. It's a multifunctional mask that genuinely glows you up, hydrates you, and just calms and soothes at the same time. If you love the scent of honey, you will love this product. I love the fact that they're using honey, which is an unsung hero in skincare. It hydrates, it has some antimicrobial benefits, it can boost the skin barrier. The rice in here is also enzymatic, so it will help do a very gentle light exfoliation. Whether you're looking to just take off some winter dead skin cells or you're looking to refresh the look of the skin in summer, this will work whatever season. It's nice and hydrating. It's not one of those masks that dries down like a crust, like a clay layer on the skin. This remains nice and supple throughout you using it. "For some really mild exfoliation, I'm going to use this ground rice and honey glow mask from Beauty of Joseon. I've only used it once. It has a little bit of that physical exfoliation because it has that rice powder in it, but it's not strong at all. Like, it feels very very gentle and because of the honey, it's super soothing and moisturizing to the skin. It's nourishing to the skin. It kind of smells good, too. The main ingredient in here is like a byproduct of rice water. So, it's supposed to be really good for your skin just in general. You can see there's little granules in it, but they don't feel strong at all. This is not a scrub. After I rinsed three times, I do not feel like I stripped my skin. Face is really clean, but it still feels nice and nourished. That is the key."

"This mask is so unique. Obviously you apply it like a mask and then of course you can wipe it off, but if you don't wipe it off, if you gently scrub it on your face, it smooths everything out. I have never tried a face mask that is this good. This is for normal to dry, even combination skin can use it. If your skin is oily, there is another one which is specifically for oily skin, which is the Red Mung Clay Mask, which is a clay mask which doesn't dry you out, and you can also gently scrub it and it gives you a really good feeling."

"It will help with minimizing pores and also help with oil absorption, so if you have very oily skin or combination skin, you're going to like this. It's also got honey in it, and that's what's allowing it to stick to the skin so well, which is a very soothing ingredient. Plus it has glycerin, so that's holding water in the top layer of skin. I actually really like this product and highly recommend it. I would give this a 7.5 out of 10, especially if you have oily, acne-prone skin and you just want to treat yourself once a week. "Another recommended product would be the Beauty of Joseon Ground Rice and Honey Glow Mask. I love this and I find this to be somewhat of a unique wash off mask because it is a combination of a clay-based mask which is going to help to control any excessive oil on the skin. It's great for congestion, clogged pores, uneven texture on the skin. But it also combines that with honey which is antibacterial, moisturizing, soothing for the skin, reduces redness. And so it actually is this almost mousse like clay texture. It's fluffy. It's almost whipped up because think about clay mixed with honey, right? It's not dense and dry and hard to spread. It's fluffier. It's moistier. And so it's really beautiful and elegant to spread onto the skin. The honey means that the clay actually never really dries out. Keeps the masking experience much more comfortable, much more hydrated, moisturized. But the clay is still working on sucking up excessive oil and helping to refine texture on the skin. When you wash it off, your skin will be very even, very glowy. The name promises glow. I do believe it delivers. Any redness that you might have had on your skin is reduced. Any texture that you saw on your skin is going to be smoothed out."

I definitely need the clay because my skin feels a little bit dull and I'm noticing a little bit more congestion with the seasonal change. "This is the Beauty of Joseon Ground Rice and Honey Glow Mask, a new release this year and one of the hardest working wash off masks that I have personally used. It's like this beautiful three-in-one mask. We have this moisturizing honey element, and it's very apparent in the texture which is very luxurious, very silky, and quite moisturizing and skin softening for the skin. There's also a soothing element with the honey that helps to reduce redness and inflammation, and it just feels so good on the skin. But then there's a clay component to this mask as well, and the clay actually works really hard because when I wash this mask off, my pores look cleaner and tighter and my skin texture is so much smoother. It really does help to clarify the skin, but because it is combined with that luxurious moisturizing honey, it actually doesn't dry out the skin. And then there's ground rice in this mask, as the name suggests, and the ground rice particles create this very gentle physical exfoliation benefit. Every time I wash this off of my face, my skin looks smoother, brighter, more even."

"This mask really soothes and balances my skin. It helps to reduce inflammation, it takes down redness, and it really does give my skin this really beautiful lit from within glow. They are using some fermented rice that they get from magoli, which is a sparkling rice wine from Korea, and when you ferment an ingredient you really unlock a lot of what I call skin nutrition, there's a lot of the vitamins, the minerals, the amino acids, the antioxidant power. It really just supercharges the ingredients so you're getting all those benefits of rice which help to condition your skin, soften it, balance it, and also help brighten it and bring out that glow. They're also using rice hull powder, there is a little bit of a physical exfoliating scrub element to this, but rice hull is so much more soft than if you were using a walnut shell or those microbeads that are really rough and kind of tear up your skin. Rice hull is very natural."

"I've been using this at least once a week since I got it, it's almost empty. I really really like this mask because it makes using a clay mask a lot easier for my skin that can get easily dried out by clay. I love clay masks because I have that oily T-Zone, so the pores can just really fill up and look very stretched out. I love what clay can do, especially if you're consistently using it like once or two times a week to just get the extra oil out. It really helps to encourage the gunk to not build up inside the pore, and when you clean everything out you can kind of keep them a little bit smoother and a little bit tighter. But it just sometimes is too rough on my skin. This mask makes it not overwhelming. It's not greasy, it's not so much moisture that it makes everything else feel a little too thick or overwhelmed. It's just so so good."

"I have legit gone through so many jars of this. Like I have not not used this since it was released last year. It's wild actually how much I have been loyal and in love with this mask. This is just the perfect multitasking, multi-beneficial type of product. This is a great combination of some of my favorite things in a mask. So this has clay content in it. So it's actually really great at refining texture, cleaning out the pores, sucking up excessive oil in the skin, but then it also combines it with honey, which is moisturizing, calming, soothing, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, very healing for the skin, lightly moisturizing for the skin. And then there's a little bit of physical exfoliation in here with the rice hull content. Um, and it's very, very soft. This isn't like those hard micro beads that kind of like tear up at your skin."

"The exfoliation is very very gentle, it's not ripping up your skin but if you do get flaky skin you're going to love this. If you don't want to use the physical exfoliation or you don't have flaky skin, just wash the mask off, you don't have to rub it in. The first time I used it, it really soothed redness on my skin. I didn't even think my skin was all that red but when I washed this mask off, my skin tone looks so much more clear, so much more even, so much healthier looking, glowy. The honey calms the inflammation, it soothes the skin, it gives it a kiss of moisture, it makes your skin incredibly soft. This would be a great makeup prep type of mask too because it really does soften and soothe the skin but it also helps with texture and creates a really nice smooth canvas. I'm really digging on this mask. It definitely does help to soften and balance the skin and I would say it's delivering on that brightening for sure. "This is a 10 out of 10. I've been using it for so many years and I've been raving about it since it was released in summer of 2024. This is a beautiful three-in-one mask so it brings all the benefits of a clay mask. There is clay content in here so it's great for helping to clean out the pores to help refine texture on the skin and help to suck up excessive oil, but it's been mixed with honey so it has all the benefits of a honey moisturizing mask. And then there's rice content in here which is another brightening ingredient, but there's also actual rice hull content in here which is a very gentle physical exfoliant. It washes away really cleanly and your skin will glow. It delivers on the name. Your skin will look a lot more even, a lot more bright, it will be a lot more smooth, it will be more clarified."

"This is the ground rice and honey glow mask. If you haven't used this before, imagine your favorite clay mask but without the horrible drying down, the tightness, and the way it leaves your skin void of all moisture. There's something here called rice Lees extract which is brightening and helps boost elasticity. It's a fermented ingredient as well, so you get all that kind of better aging benefits. Rice whole powder makes this a really nice gentle exfoliation once it's time to rinse off. You apply a little bit of water and give a very gentle scrub and then rinse away. Honey is nicely soothing and moisturizing. Then you do have kaolin clay in here, so you do get the benefits of absorbing that excess oil and sebum but without stripping your skin of all its natural oils. It easily rinses away as well. You're not left with all these little bits on your face and you're not left rubbing your face with a washcloth trying to get the excess clay off. It's just a nice gentle, more modern version of a clay mask. If you have oily skin or even if you don't have oily skin and you just want an extra dose of moisturization, this is an amazing one to go for."
