"This is more of a BB cream than a tinted sunscreen, and I apply it like a foundation. Most of the days I've been testing it, it's worked and I've been happy with it, although there was one day where my skin was really pink from rosacea and it wasn't quite thick enough to cover the redness, but the rest of the days it's worked just fine and I haven't had any issues with it. I'm not exactly sure I'd say I like it more than the Dr. Jart, but it is much more affordable, about half the price."

"Beauty of Joseon, a Korean brand, I have yet to find a bad product from them. They have a tinted mineral sunscreen with zinc oxide and an SPF booster, octinoxate, like most mineral sunscreens these days, which isn't bad since it helps with overall finish and stability of other ingredients. It's a lightweight, fluid formula that doesn't peel and doesn't get chalky. It's smooth and comes in about 12 different shades, so you have a better chance of finding one that doesn't look bizarre on your skin. It's fragrance-free and has no niacinamide for those who are sensitive. Technically it's a hybrid sunscreen because of the octinoxate, but it does not have a heavy cast. It does require a bit of effort to spread on the skin and there's some streakiness as you're putting it on at first, but relative to mineral sunscreens in general the spread is not too bad. I love the tint on this, I got the shade MP200 and it's worked out really well for me. I've worn it in many videos and was able to tolerate it around my eyes with no problem."

"When they announced they were launching a tinted sunscreen in a range of different shades, everybody got super excited. That's until they tried the product. Oh, this was a disaster. There wasn't a single shade in that entire collection that didn't leave people looking ashy or an unusual skin type. It just didn't sit well on anyone's skin tone. [...] Any one of the shades, they just didn't work for anyone. Didn't matter what your skin tone was. You put this on and you look in the mirror and think, 'Yeah, it was giving distortion, white cast. It was giving like almost a blotchy appearance to the skin, too.' Absolute fail. People hated how thick the formula was and you couldn't reapply on top of itself. So, when it came to a reapplication, people just said, 'Well, it wasn't possible.' Everything that could go wrong with the sunscreen launch went wrong with this product. And it honestly baffles me that this passed testing that people signed off on this formula having used it. It was garbage."

"This comes in 12 shades. So inclusive. This is 20.90% zinc oxide. It does contain octal salicyate. And it also contains SD alcohol. I mentioned that because this really hurt my soul and my skin. It really burned my face, which I wasn't happy about because I was so psyched about it. And it's also not water resistant. So this is a runny tinted liquid. It feels lovely going on like a lightweight oil or serum. It has a wet yet powdery feel to it. It blends well around hair and eyebrows. The finish is softly dewy but not shiny. The tint is a good match for me and it evens out my skin tone and looks really natural. I did put makeup on over this one. With makeup, I don't love how this foundation looks over this sunscreen. It looks more dry and cakey than normal, and it's more settled into wrinkles than it normally is. At the 4-hour check-in, the makeup was still wearing well. It looks fine from a distance, but it's really not blowing my socks off. I've seen this makeup look better. After 8 hours, this was kind of a mixed bag. The good was that the makeup still looked in place and hardly worn off at all. So, it's almost primer-like under makeup in that it really helps your makeup to adhere to your skin. But the bad news was that up close, it looked very dry and very crusty. It made my skin look drier."

"The Beauty of Joseon Daily Tinted Fluid Sunscreen with Broadspectrum SPF 40 is definitely geared towards the US market. Zinc oxide is listed as an active ingredient but there's also butyloctyl salicylate which is a sneaky chemical sunscreen filter. It's so lightweight it's practically water and it's so thin it's really quite beautiful. You can apply a lot and just not really notice it. This works beautifully under makeup or just on its own which is what I tend to do. I find there to be barely any coverage, just enough of a tint to mask a white cast. There are 12 shades of this which is really nice, and because of the blendability of it I can use like three of these shades and it would match me well."

"They found a good balance between the tints, the undertones, the sheerness, and the zinc. [...] I'm kind of leaning towards a six out of ten. I'm not over the moon about using this every single day because I am feeling some dryness. [...] Denatured alcohol and zinc oxide are two ingredients that have historically, time after time, made my skin feel dry and dehydrated. [...] The more I'm talking to you, the more I'm feeling it in my dry areas. [...] It's not too bad, it's not super uncomfortable, but I [...] didn't feel the drying until about the four-hour mark, so I was impressed that it didn't happen right away. If you're sensitive to denatured alcohol or a [...] high percentage of zinc, [...] you're going to feel it. Up close, you start to see the flaws, it's kind of settling into the lines, clinging to the dry patches, getting a little bit cakey, kind of breaking up."

"Initial thoughts on this Beauty of Joseon product is that I like it. I don't think that everyone with a deeper skin tone might have the same kind of experience with it because some of those deeper shades did look quite ashy to me. I would love to see how it looks on someone with a deeper, richer skin tone because I feel like you really need to get deeper skin tones correct, but the richer the skin tone is the more correct you've got to be. [...] Overall I do like this. I was surprised at how much coverage it gave because typically tinted mineral sunscreens tend to feel like I put watercolors on my face sometimes with certain tinted moisturizer and tinted mineral sunscreen products, but I did like the finish. It's pretty, I'm not mad at it. This is not a product that I particularly use in my routine. I'm usually either no makeup whatsoever [...] or a full face of makeup, so I usually don't wear these light foundation products. [...] Had I been one of those people, I think this one is really nice."

"This is a mess to use. It is so sheer, so so sheer that the only tint I got was actually the whiteness from the zinc oxide side. It wasn't really anything tinted at all. And it peels like crazy. There's no playing around with this. You have to put it on your skin, rub it in as little as possible, and then don't touch it. If you touch it, you're done. It clings to the dryness. I have very dry crevices and it was just clinging to them. I couldn't get it to work. I used primers, I used everything like extra hydration to try and get this to work around the area and it just didn't work. I gave this product way more time than I usually would, way more effort than I usually would for a product to the point where I was like this is getting ridiculous now. I shouldn't be having to put this much effort into getting a product to sit nicely on my skin. It's such a shame because I thought this was going to be my new favorite mineral tinted sunscreen and it's just not at all."
