"This is their Apricot Blossom Peeling Gel, which is a super gentle physical exfoliant type scrub. You apply it to wet skin, and it's just a very gentle physical exfoliant compared to like harsh scrubs or harsh powders. Super gentle. So, if you haven't tried it, at first I did not like these types of exfoliants. Uh, and it finally took me a few years to warm up to them and now kind of appreciate them and their gentleness without being too harsh or scrubby. So, I do like that."

"The cellulose in here kind of globs up and it helps just very gently exfoliate on a physical level. It's lovely, it's ten bucks. If you haven't tried a scrub like this, at first I hated them, hated them, and I've kind of come around to actually liking them once or twice a week. It's a very gentle physical exfoliant. It doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or anything. It's just very nice, leaves your skin just feeling clean but soft."

It's really nice, very similar to Ceryx I would say the Ceryx is a little more effective and a little more efficient, this one's a little bit more gentle. So again with sensitive skin this one might be a good option. They're both really affordable."

"The Apricot Blossom Peeling Gel gives me like really nostalgic feelings. I feel like peeling gels are overlooked nowadays. If you have easily sensitized skin or mild rosacea like myself, peeling gels are a great way to exfoliate without overly hassling your skin. Still to be used once or twice a week. However, this peeling gel contains 8% cellulose which boils up as you rub it on your skin and it's that cellulose that gently exfoliates away all those dead skin cells."

"I've used this, it's like a very traditional peeling gel. You kind of work it into the skin, it balls up on itself, feels very satisfying. It does allow you to take away some of the dead skin cells, but I just think peeling gels have had their day. They were all the rage a couple of years ago, but I don't see the hype about them as much now. [...] Beauty of Joseon as a Korean skincare brand is amazing, but this is my least favorite product from them."

"Enzyme peels can lead to irritation more than chemical peels, and I [...] always pick a fragrance-free superficial chemical peel over an enzyme peel for skin of color. You never mix physical beads [...] with an enzyme peel. It contains denatured alcohol, which should never be on our skin, and they added fragrance, which is an absolute disaster. This product is one of the worst you've seen today. It gets zero out of 10."
