What the gurus are saying

This tinted moisturizer melts into skin and delivers genuine coverage without looking makeup-heavy, a quality that has kept loyal users coming back for over a decade. Gurus praise how it reads as skin rather than product, even at fuller coverage, making it ideal for anyone who wants their base to look fresh rather than full-on made up. However, those with very dry skin may find it dries down too much; it performs best for people with combination, normal, or oily skin.

"I love this product. I have for literally over 10 years because I feel like no matter how much you apply, it just always looks like skin. You're going to get pretty good coverage with this. Definitely not foundation level. So, if you feel like you have quite a bit of redness or you have like blemishes you would like to cover up, maybe you wouldn't like this. But even then, I've left it for so long, even through all the years where I had super active breakouts. All I would do is just use this all over and then spot conceal. And I feel like it gave me a more fresh look versus like a full coverage foundation all over the face."

The BEST Makeup TODAY.. According to YOU!
"So many people submitted this like it was the number one most requested product, and you know what, I understand why. It is so good. I wear the shade Birch 1.5. This is one of those products that just never gets old to me. What's crazy is so many people in my life that I got hooked on this product years ago still wear this product exclusively as their base makeup. It's actually nuts. This just melts into the skin. It doesn't look makeupy at all, but it gives great coverage, which I love, because for me if I'm gonna put something on my face I like it to do something. Even on a no-makeup makeup day, if I'm gonna bother it needs to improve my skin or the appearance of my skin in some way, and I feel like this does that."

"This is such a fabulous tinted moisturizer and it's fully back into my routine. It's what I'm wearing right now. This is just such a good staple product. I've never not had this in my collection, but I haven't been wearing it every single day until lately. And now that I'm wearing this again, I'm reminded how fabulous this is. I know why she was wearing Complexion Rescue. It's so good."
I LOVE how this look turned out!! 😍 Keep using what you have!!

"I think it's like a really nice skin tint. Back when that launched I remember it feeling like it was revolutionary because tinted moisturizers didn't feel that great, they were just kind of blah. You wanted a tinted moisturizer but you couldn't really find one that gave good coverage that set well that did a good job. This one was great and it was SPF 30, so back then that felt better. When that was launched, the competition was Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer, like that was essentially the only tinted moisturizer that was really talked about. This actually felt like a true tinted moisturizer, not like other cosmetics where you got a lot of coverage but it didn't really feel like a tinted moisturizer. I think I would still enjoy using this, not as my sunscreen but I think I would still enjoy using this."

"The Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue is just a little bit too drying for my very dry skin, but if you have combination skin, normal skin, or oily skin, I think you're going to love this. This is one of the top sellers of all the complexion products in the US, and it just didn't suit me. It's a light product but dries down, which I think would work really well for someone who prefers that finish."
