"It breaks down and emulsifies, but with this it always left like little plasticky feeling, like little bits of balm that had to break down further. It feels like the starting point of a cleansing balm, and whilst it has nice ingredients and does the job, it's a little bit outdated. There are many more richer, more nourishing balms with better ingredients that just feel nice on the skin. It's decent but outdated, and I feel like it's been replaced by many. This was everywhere at one point, but now it just doesn't hold up. There's too many better options in today's standards for a cleansing balm in my opinion."

"This natural cleansing oil has a thick consistency, if you're a cleansing oil newbie you'll feel it's a bit heavy, with a little scent I didn't like that much at first. But it's effective at removing blackheads and all my makeup, and the amazing thing about the Banila Co Clean It Zero is that after you cleanse it off, the skin is still very bouncy and moisturizing. I definitely recommend it for mature, dry skin. Some reviews said it caused too much stimulation on their skin, some people react to the natural ingredients, so keep that in mind."

"I tried the Clean It Zero cleansing balm, which is the original. I didn't love it to start with. I was surprised at how much fragrance is in here, like it is really very very fragrant. It didn't really remove makeup better than my Clinique Take the Day Off cleansing balm, which I compare everything to because that is the best, so it wasn't as good as the Clinique, so for me it wasn't great."

"This cleansing balm has a special place in my heart because it is the very first cleansing balm that got me into double cleansing. I love it for a couple reasons. Number one is it's really gentle and effective at removing waterproof mascara and eyeliner that I wear on a regular basis, and also it doesn't cause irritation, at least for me, for my eyes. And two, when you rinse it off it leaves minimal residue. Even though it's on the pricier end, for its value and how much you get in a 100 milliliter standard jar, it took me about over 6 months to get through it and I double cleanse on a daily basis. So I just love it. It's a great one if you're looking for a cleansing balm. If you've never tried it, I highly recommend trying this one."
