"The PHA Resurfacing Glow Peel is a real surprise to me, I normally avoid products marketed as peels because I'm too sensitive, but this is different, it's 10% PHA, which is a much larger molecule than something like a 10% glycolic acid peel, and studies on gluconolactone find it's a hydrating exfoliating ingredient. It's not just PHA, it also uses papaya, so you get a dual mechanism, enzymatic exfoliation plus that larger PHA molecule exfoliating the surface of your skin. This is a really nice product for sensitive skin, though you could be underwhelmed if you have a tougher skin type since the PHA molecule doesn't travel as deep as something like glycolic acid. As somebody who is scared of peels, I am happy to report this actually works really well for me. It is a wash-off product, which is a bit of a catch since most PHA products are leave-on, you apply a nice thick layer and remove it after 10 minutes. This one very much surprised me and ended up being towards the top of my ranking."
